Here Comes Isan!

You all must have tried some bad watermelon

I don't HATE watermelon - compared to a lot of other options out there it's just boring. There's not much in the way of texture, it's well, watery, and the flavor isn't very strong overall.  Seeded watermelon tends to have a stronger and better taste than the more convenient seedless variety.  I'll give you that it's not as bad as honey dew which might truly be the blandest of all fruits.

Personally, I'm a mango man.  I also love sumo mandarins (if you can find them - which can be challenging).  kiwis, snapdragon apples, bananas (Guatemala produces the best ones in my experience), cotton candy grapes, and Aussie navel oranges are all solid options as well.

Truly a perfect summary right here. It's not bad but it's not great, not sure how it can be anyone's favorite fruit mostly because of its lack of flavor.

If watermelon is your favorite fruit then you must not really like fruit.

My favorite by far is strawberry with mango being second.

I would not worry about Isan right now. It is his first cup of coffee and he has to go through an adjustment period. He struggled at first in AAA to begin with last year. Still plenty of time to get through the rough start.

Like: Apples, Bananas, Mangos, Raspberries, Grapes, Strawberries, Oranges and Lemons (well, lemon flavored in most cases)

Hate: Grapefruit, Cherries, Peaches, Limes (awful if by itself - OK if mixed with lemon)

Who is actually worried about him already?

All of the non fake fans. Didn't you know he was a bust already?

Great game tonight Isan! Nice game from our young core players as a whole. Even Sandy.

Indeed - Sandy went right after all their hitters tonight and didn't try to get cute. Isan was more aggressive and patient simultaneously, was good to see. Also glad to see him go opposite field multiple times tonight.

That was a fun one and heck of a comeback.

His base running mistake in the 9th was awful and arguably cost us the tying run.  To call it a mistake is charitable because the root of it was his lack of hustle running to first.  You can’t be lazy in that situation.

If he running full speed to first then maybe it would be a lead off double …
