i'm well aware. it still is like falling face first into the sand at the beach and getting a mouthful of it.  it is horrid texture wise.  i enjoy a good protein bar or even a shake with whey protein added. that cereal is fucking revolting though and you're trolling people by saying it's good.

Texture, sure, gets stuck on your teeth, but tastes fine. Not sure when exactly you got yours or what flavor but the frosted and fruity options are quite good.

This post can read so differently out of context.

Frosted Flakes

Got a nice big box of Frosted Flakes! Gonna have a nice big bowl later followed by a 35 minute nap and wake up groggy and then have a second bowl!

Same here. I will have a bowl for dessert sometimes.

Kid Tested. Parents Approved doods.

It’s amazing how many parents in the world will buy that because it says “parent approved” as if that means anything.

It reminds me of that time I almost bought some magic spoon because it was @Michael approved. But then after doing some critical thinking I realized that he’s probably still mad about all those times I pwned him with Vesia jokes and his way to get back at me is to recommend some chalk sand cereal that will be sure to send me a runnin to the lavatory!

I do legitimately back Magic Spoon. Hovertical maybe got a bad batch or just can't handle protein. Or both.

That’s true.. not everyone can handle the ol Whey protein. It can give some people the shits and other issues for the lactose intolerant of the population or so I’ve heard. Not saying that’s what happened to @hovertical specifically but just a general comment.

But everyone has foods they absolutely cannot stand even when the majority of people love them.

For me it’s onions.. absolutely cannot and will not eat them. And especially raw.. gives me mega gag reflexes. And I will still to this day pick out the onions from any food they happen to be in. So many people have called me crazy or looked at me like I’m stupid or weird(well probably they look at me like that for other reasons as well) but yeah. I absolutely will not eat onions.

I had the cinnamon O's and I had the fruity pebbles knockoff and both were just disgusting. And for $10.50 for a small box lol. Whey protein doesn't bother me at all but I'm not a fan of eating sand so both boxes of this shit went into the trash.

It didn't make me sick or anything. It is legit one of the worst textured foods I've ever eaten.

Also. There's almost zero taste. But I guess that's sand for ya.

At least sand is salty. Sounds like sawdust to me. 🤮

At least.. I think it’s salty. I haven’t really eaten much sand in my life so to be honest I don’t really know what it tastes like.

Sounds like you weren't bullied enough on the playground as a kid.

I've eaten enough sand that back in the day they used to call me "Sandy Alcantara".

This is weird. I get liking it as a kid and adult, but only as an adult?  Did you enjoy prune juice and a bowl of oatmeal as a kid?

Honestly I didn't like regular Corn Flakes and I think I associated the two together since they're similar. I still ate it because it was around, it just wasn't my favorite, yet now I'll actually choose it.

i didn't like cereal AT ALL when I was a kid but i eat a wide variety of it now.  It's also dirt cheap out here in Arizona for some odd reason.  You can get the Giant size box of Frosted Flakes for $2 at least once a month on sale.

Also, the Mom's Best Golden grahams version is far superior to the actual Golden Grahams cereals if y'all enjoy that sort of thing.

Random thought, Corn Pops are delicious alone, awful with milk. Good taste that gets washed away by the milk.

Haven't had those in a long time, but I think I'd agree from what I remember.

Can confirm. Bought a box last year. Ended up raw dogging it instead as adding milk made them slimy and weird.
