April 28, 20233 yr In case you're wondering where you might know Quezada from...his only MLB experience came in 2020, when he pitched three innings for the Miami Marlins. He kind of only has one good pitch, his fastball, but struggles to set it up with any offspeed or breaking stuff. He is 6'9" tall though, so he'll at least give hitters a different arm slot than they're mostly used to.

I know what you mean, but I just don't agree it's not about performance, it just makes no sense to make a DFA without the factors of performance.
