TheMarlinsProject
Both got the promotion from Jupiter to Beloit. Both looked pretty solid in their first high-A outing. Development is coming along nicely and although they are a few years away show great promise.
Iowa
Hoping to see them live next week here in town.. don't suppose you know the days they're starting?
fanofthefish
I just missed them here with Jupiter, good to see they're progressing well. If they keep on the every five day rotation they should pitch the 12th & 13th in Quad Cities.

TheMarlinsProject
Not to put a damper on the enthusiasm but both Meyer and White have had control issues so far. They have been pretty tough to hit but need to work on their walks allowed. Beloit has a very intriguing rotation with Miller (former 2nd rounder), Milbrandt (bonus baby, 3rd rounder), Olson (2023-4th round), White (supp-!st), and Meyer (1st). Ike Buxton has been getting starts too and is scheduled to pitch soon so maybe they are going with a 6-man rotation for the time being. Unfortunately, the Sky Carp have little to no prospects on the hitting side unless someone hasn't given up on Yiddi Cappe yet. The 13th is cheap beer night so that's what I'm hoping for! 🙂

I checked MLB website and they have the starter listed as undecided so far.

TheMarlinsProject
Noble Meyer and Thomas White both named to the NL squad for the future game at the All-Star break. Both progressing well in Beloit. Unsurprisingly, no Marlin hitting prospects were selected.
WillyumKeef
Meyer is putting up Edward Cabrera-esq walk numbers in high A now, honestly worse. 7.8 BB/9 in Beloit right now. 6.7 BB/9 in minors career. For reference, at Cabreras very worst he was at 6.5 BB/9 in a 26 inning MLB sample size in '21. I actually trust our pitching development and Meyer's obvious extremely young but color me concerned at this point regardless
TheMarlinsProject
Noble has been terrible since going to high-A. Probably time to shut him down for the year and work on his mechanics and start fresh next year. Thomas White has been improving and has a lights-out slider. Right now him and Snelling have passed Noble on the prospects list imo.
mrchainsaw
We should probably just do away with all these pitchers named Meyer.
