It's one thing to lose a random trade here and there where a guy breaks out that wasn't expected. But nearly every major trade we've made has turned out poorly thus far, some of which have no hope of improving (especially earlier trades).

But hey, Bruce saved some money, so we have that!

I feel like it's proven, if they trade from the MLB Roster it's going to be a loss value wise. If they trade from the Minors its a win win for both sides or a lose lose.

Why is Bendix so willing to trade from a ML roster when he can trade from the Minors and fill in a few gaps around the edges.
You've all said it, we should have Kept Mesa, Luzardo, Hicks and Rodgers. Those moves alone buy us maybe 2 or 3 more wins over the course of a season and we'd be in the middle of the playoff race instead of just outside fighting to get in.

This team makes the playoffs last year and this year if they kept Luzardo alone. He alone shifts the equation 4-5 Wins. Impossible task to root for
