January 31, 200422 yr It looks like Ozzie guillen is bringing former Marlin Vic Darensbourg to training camp for the sox. I always like Darensbourg, had a couple good years for us. I wish him and ozzie the best in chicago. Also anyone have news on Todd Dunnwoody, i saw his name mentioned in an article on ESPN.com, so i was wondering if he still has a future in baseball?
January 31, 200422 yr Also anyone have news on Todd Dunnwoody, i saw his name mentioned in an article on ESPN.com, so i was wondering if he still has a future in baseball? Probably, but as a non-roster invitee.
January 31, 200422 yr Hey, what ever happened to ricky bones?i remember that day in houston that he hit a double,he was a pretty good pitcher outta the bullpen.
January 31, 200422 yr Also anyone have news on Todd Dunnwoody, i saw his name mentioned in an article on ESPN.com, so i was wondering if he still has a future in baseball? Probably, but as a non-roster invitee. Yes, his section is 106. Look for the guy with the beanie yelling "get your cold Bud!"
January 31, 200422 yr hated it when vic left. loved it when vic left. a total piece of crap. made almanza look like cy young. :hat
January 31, 200422 yr Marlins 2003 that was the best quote by a poster on this board ever. (bowing) thank you
January 31, 200422 yr hated it when vic left. loved it when vic left. a total piece of crap. made almanza look like cy young. :hat 100% behind ya
January 31, 200422 yr but seriously what ever happened to Ricky Bones ? maybe he just got arrested again
January 31, 200422 yr hated it when vic left. loved it when vic left. a total piece of crap. made almanza look like cy young. :hat Glad to see someone with an ounce of sense and baseball knowledge. A strong case can be made that Vic was the most pathetic pitcher in Marlins' history. At least in his last year he was dreadful. Vic was batting practice. Loved it when Vic was gone. I wonder if any of these bright lights realized that the Marlins got Juan Pierre for Vic. I wonder if any of these bright lights know that he was owed more than a million dollars for 2003. That's why the Marlins moved him in that deal. Another great move by Beinfest, unloading a total waste. :hat The champ
February 1, 200422 yr I believe Vic played with Colorado Springs (Rockies) this past year and Dunwoody with Memphis (Cardinals)
February 1, 200422 yr Yes, his section is 106. Look for the guy with the beanie yelling "get your cold Bud!" I love that guy with the spinning rainbow beanie. He's been a beer guy for the Marlins as long as I can remember.
February 1, 200422 yr Vic was very solid with us for a long time in the long relief role and getting left handers out but then his last year he was horrible. He had like a 15.00 ERA in his last season with us!
February 1, 200422 yr or maybe he retired ?!? or maybe serious arm trouble and that's why he isn't playing, Mr. Know it All. BONES IS HURT. GAME SET MATCH. :hat The champ
February 2, 200422 yr Ricky Bones had Tommy John surgery. Don't know when he is expected to be pitching again, but I believe it was maybe 2 months after AJ had surgery.
February 2, 200422 yr I would give Vic Darensbourg a nomination for the all-time Yorkis Perez Pathetic Marlins Reliever Award
February 2, 200422 yr Repeatin04, get over yourself. Vic Darensbourg sucks and 99.9% of Marlins fans know this. But by all means, pat yourself on the back for re-stating the obvious once again.
