  1. -Former Ravens RB Jamal Lewis signs with the Browns Hmmmmm... I thought he was washed up, but we shall see how he does with little to no O-line. I'm just glad the Bengals resigned Reggie Kelly.
  2. He'll be back within five years. They never stay dead. This is a ploy boy Marvel to get media attention along the lines of Superman's death and Batman getting his back broken. Also, later on it's reported Cap isn't dead and is being worked on in a boat in the Hudson River and isn't dead but in a coma (possibly). The thing I like... Is that they're developing a Cap movie right now. Hopefully it's more along the lines of The Ultimates Cap story (a WW2 battle hardened hero story who uncovers an alien plot in the midst of the Nazi uprising) or the current comic (which is more of a spy thriller and featuring more Tom Clancy type of stories with Cap and his shield in them).
  3. Could be good. As long as they stick with the original music and don't "Rob Zombie" it up by using heavy guitars and stuff it's cool. And the Misfits "Halloween" being played over the credits would be appreciated.
  4. Grade 65 - Average Starter Porter is no longer the explosive player he once was, though, and this is especially apparent as an edge pass rusher. His quickness off the snap and pure speed is declining. He makes fewer big plays than ever. While Porter posts respectable sack numbers, much of this production comes in bunches against below-average left tackles. He also benefits statistically from his knowledge of the scheme and will make big plays when he isn't blocked. He is a talker who can be abrasive and rub people the wrong way. A Bill Cowher favorite, Porter still has a lot of football left in him and teams that employ a 3-4 scheme will certainly show interest, but he wore out his welcome in Pittsburgh and the new staff decided to cut ties with the former star. c/o ESPN.com
  5. Geez, I heard this on the radio and I thought they said Jerry Porter. Seems like a reasonable cap number for a good player. I don't honestly know enough about Porter to have a major reaction to this signing. I find it a little curious that Porter wanted to come to such a crappy team, but maybe he believes we're not that far away, or maybe Cameron gave him quite a pitch. I think it's pretty clear that we're going to be drafting offense at this point. Or maybe because he got 20 million guaranteed You don't think he could've gotten that elsewhere? Considering the money being thrown around this offseason? Or close to it? I don't think he could have. He's not that great. You'd think the Dolphins got Ray Lewis in his prime. They didn't.
  6. This makes me laugh. Dolphins overpaid. Stupidest FA year ever. This dude would be considered mediocre if he hadn't run his mouth pre-Superbowl.

    Zodiac

10 bucks says they don't catch him. Man! Give that a spoiler tag. Hater. :mischief
  8. An example of being possessed by demons is available at the top of this page. How sick is that? Would anybody mind if a army guy just walked up and shot him? seriously nobody would care, in fact there would be a celebration. That dog wouldn't celebrate. It'd be sad. Plus, it probably likes licking that dude's old scroat every night before he goes to bed.
  9. He said sex with a 5 year old is OK. That is very disturbing. OH MY GOD! A DUDE WHO HAS SEX WITH KIDS THINKS IT'S OKAY! Shocker. He said it. Didn't mean I sat there and thought what that actually entails. He's a sick old man. Doesn't disturb me the way watching a movie about his life might.
  10. hahhahaha i think the bangals come to mind with that comment, anyways Randy i a pro bowler and still has good years left in him, i dunno someone will want him. just a couple years ago everybody was putting em him up there with Tony Gonzo and Gates and now we dont even want him..... Let's see, murder suspects, no. Drug dealers, no. 1/3 And learn to spell.

    Cavemen

Worst. Idea. Ever. How desperate are they for tv shows that they resort to this crap?
  12. Not really that disturbing. Just kind of sad. The guy's sick. I DID kind of root for the reporter to punch him in the face when that dude kept getting up real close.
  13. I'd consider taking him if it wasn't for that bonus he'll get. But, only if he attends counseling as well.
  14. That'd be more fitting if there was a NCAA: Head Coach. No that'd be stupid.
  15. Smart idea, putting them in the middle of nowhere...
  16. I want to know what the Dolphins are thinking? The only player I have heard them talking to about signing is WR Kelley Washington from Cincy and now rumor has it that they are putting Randy McMichael on the block for a third round pick. Rebuild mode? Kelly Washington is going to probably be a good second WR reciever. He's not really a go to guy on third down or anything, but he's got skills and shows them from time to time. And he has the best celebration dance in football. And it just gets crazier. Mughelli from Baltimore (FB) got 3 MILLION A YEAR FROM ATLANTA. This is not even an upper level guy. I don't get it. Then you have Kyle Brady. TE. 35 years old. 2.5 mil from New England. If this is how FA is I don't want the Bengals signing anyone. This is a waste of money. What are these teams thinking?
  17. I guess redneck is a racial slur, now? Sounds like a completely unbiased account. That being said, throwing stuff onto the court is still inexcusible. Fans ruin everything by being losers.

    Ghost Rider

It was better than I thought it would be. Marvel usually does a pretty good job with big screen adaptations of their comics (lets forget about Daredevil and Hulk) and this was no exception. It wasn't great like the Spider-Man films, but it was still enjoyable. You just named 50% of their movie franchises as sucking and then said Marvel does a pretty good job. Kind of weird. Biggest opening for president's day weekend ever. I guess Americans like paying to see crap. :shrugs As long as the comic book nerds flock to see these movies they'll continue making this "crap." Comics sell in the thousands. If a title is real strong selling in the hundreds of thousands isn't unheard of. There aren't enough comic book nerds in America to make movies like Ghost Rider a success. The average, stupid, beer-swilling, American Idol watching, American idiot saw this flick, too, don't lie. Hulk and Daredevil make 50% of Marvel franchises? Spider-Man X-Men The Punisher Blade Hulk Daredevil Ghost Rider Fantastic 4 I didn't like 2 out of 8. Not exactly 50% :shifty You made it even worse. 3 out of 8 on that list are worth a damn. That's worse than the original 50% I granted you. Blade's a joke, the Hulk and Daredevil sucked, Fantastic 4 was meh. I'm now confused as to whether you're making the argument that you like crap, or that most of the movies Marvel has made suck now.
  19. I'm glad the Bengals don't spend ridiculous money on what I consider the worst FA market in years. Thomas and Clements were the ONLY guys I think we'd really need, but they want too much damn money. The thing is, our fanbase is so fickle they complain about it. But, not structuring these huge free agent deals with the 9 mil cap we have allows us to resign our own guys and pay the rookies, meanwhile NOT giving these dudes the huge money they think they deserve also means we don't have to restructure our team every year, which I like. It allows TJ, Chad, Carson, Rudi, Kenny and co. to actually be teammates for four years or longer. That being said, I don't really want Takeo but he's definitely an upgrade at LB. So, hopefully we go after him or Porter. Porter wants too much money and was never the player advertised, but that flexing and taunting stuff is funny when he's on your team. Plus, we need a vocal dude who can yell at people on D.
  20. I'd consider getting over that. And people love to hate Tressel. Even though he only gives safe answers and wears awesome sweater vests. Our whole row wore those things two seasons ago, good times. You would think there would be a statute of limitations on bowl losses from five years ago, but I guess not. I know I probably should, but I dont think it'll happen anytime soon. I mean its not like I think about that game that often or that it haunts me, but I think I'll always be bitter about it. It was that close, I just dont think Im getting over that game As for me thinking that Tressel looks like a D-Bag on the sidelines, well thats not gonna change anytime soon either Yeah. D-Bag. Wow. Guess being classy is an art form. Whatever. Just telling it like I feel. And IDK why youre taking offense to me calling him that now since I did it in my previous post I think it's moronic and uncalled for. But, whatever. I think you now ARE a d-bag. Can't even spell out "I don't know." I'm crushed :| Sorry if you find what I say moronic and uncalled for. From now on I will try to live up to the brilliance of your last post. You love it.

  23. And it's Jared Zabransky http://idahostatesman.com/104/story/73641.html I love this choice. Anything that keeps Chris Leak and Troy Smith off the cover makes me happy You have something against them? :nono Well considering I hate both schools...then yeah, I do have something against them. how come? I would understand if your team was a rival of UF or OSU but UNC. Ive lived in Miami my whole life, and I was raised to be a UM football fan and to hate FU and FSU As for tOSU, Im still bitter about the Fiesta Bowl. That and their coach looks like a douchebag on the sidelines I'd consider getting over that. And people love to hate Tressel. Even though he only gives safe answers and wears awesome sweater vests. 24. I wanted Jordan Palmer on the cover more.
  25. Eckhart's go the perfect look for Dent. I haven't really seen him play anything out there the way Two Face is, but but I'm sure he's up to the challenge. Another weird rumor... Allegedly Frank Miller is getting "The Dark Knight Returns" ready for Hollywood. The Dark Knight Returns is about an old Batman and his last case, essentially. Miller wants to direct and supposedly the studio might okay it. I can't imagine two Batman franchises out at the same time. Because Miller's Dark Knight Returns is definitely a little more out there and hardcore. Also, there is a justice league movie in the works for 2009 or therafter. At the New York Comic Con it was said that the movie WOULD feature Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and Aquaman. So, we'll see if this actually happens as well. I'm betting they'd use Justice League as a spring board into getting some other properties (like Green Lantern and Aquaman) the potential future go-ahead.
