Yankees designated outfielder Bubba Crosby for assignment. We doubt Crosby will clear waivers, but the truth is that he isn't much of a reserve outfielder. He was hitting .207/.258/.299 in 87 AB this season, and he's at .216/.255/.299 in 250 AB in his career. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him end up with the Marlins. source rotoworld.com

Tonights game was great. I was there too. The place got loud there at the end and we did pretty good booing the met fans as they attepted to cheer.

I was just taking a look at the schedule and they upcoming homestand looks to be promising for the Fish. Four games with the Astros, three games with the Nats and then four games with Pittsburg...The fish have a good chance to take all three of those series... What? The Marlins have to face Houston's best pitchers and the Nationals played damn well against them last week. I'd say they are in line to lose the first two series. Way to be confident. Hopefully the Marlins have a better outlook for the series then you do.

I think the houston series will be tougher than you think....facing Oswalt, Clemens, and Pettite. Not only that, it seems like we can never close out the Nats. Hopefully that chages.

Hopefully Cabs and Uggla will repay Garner this weekend at DS. That would be nice....The game ended with Cabs on deck.
