NCAA Football Week 7
I wish Urban Meyer the best. I wanted Butch Davis but we took a risk with the spread option since it was the next big thing, and its making the #1 offense in the SEC (2004) look like FIU in 2005.

Ken Macha signs with............the A's ?!?

Girardi guarded
macha! Thats not happening now.

Girardi guarded
He should have kept quiet is what I'm saying. When he gets an offer he likes then he can start publicly praising his team all he wants.

Girardi guarded
Girardi should have just kept his mouth shut if thats the type of comments he wants to make. First of all he downplayed us saying, well maybe something 'better' will pop up next year, and then he claims Tampa is good too. How the f is Tampa good? They have a history of being bottom dwellers, and ownership who pockets the revenue sharing from MLB and puts the cheapest team they can out on the field. Girardi is talking like he has Pinella's credentials.

Cool stuff. I tried to get front row tickets on all levels but it would only give me crap seats so I won't bother buying them, but its still a great deal. Thx

Damnit, now I am going to be glued to the news instead of getting some food.

Girardi has bid from Marlins
Maybe Girardi will bring the casual Yankees fans in Florida to become Marlins fans. Couldn't hurt, since I suppose there are alot and there would be some name recognition. Casual Yankee fans won't even know who he is.

Girardi has bid from Marlins
Yeah, you're right. I guess I would just be slightly disappointed if Fredi doesn't get the job. :confused I'll be a bit dissapointed too, but I'm OK with Joe and trust Loria and Beinfest judgement to pick a manager that would fit with our current needs Same. I liked Fredi more and he will probably come somewhat cheaper. But either way, both are great choices. Good situation to be in right now.

An unappreciative bunch
Miguel Cabrera thinks he is the sh*t because well, frankly he is the sh*t. That does not mean he has to go around acting up on people, you still have to pay your dues. This isn't the NBA where any high school kid can go around dunking at will. There is a lot more to baseball than that. And he should also not only do it for respect of his teammates and the game, but for himself. The more you bloat about yourself, the more you set yourself up for a big flop - see Barry and 'roids. If Cabs gets into trouble I don't think maybe guys would take his back.

What's wrong with the Braves?
This is seriously ridiculous. They melt when the playoffs come. Its like the old Dolphins (the fins that actually won games) that choked in December/January.

Fans deserve answers on Delgado deal
I dunno who expects Delgado to leave. I'm assumming he is back unless something drastic happens with the stadium.

Who was your team in PM times ?
Yankees and (ugh) Braves

And here are MY 2005-2006 Florida Marlins
Is Chris Aguila one of my favorite outfielders? No. But face it, with the high payroll we didn't accomplish much. Chris is far cheaper than Enc or Conine and does show some promise. I think that unless Beinfest finds a FA that is willing to take a paycut to come to the Fish, we'd see Aguila on opening day. If Aguila isn't hitting .285 or higher by the All Star game and the team is in contention, they we can always trade for one. And I hope we look for offense before defense. There were two many games this season where we couldn't hit a softball.

I Love The White Sox
Thank you Mr Guillen and el Duque for bringing out the brooms on Dave "Miami sux" Wells and Mr John Henry. :notworthy Ever since they hosted us for the hurricane games last year I've adopted them as my #2 team.

And here are MY 2005-2006 Florida Marlins
I'm a big Lowell fan, but I don't see him coming back. :confused Loria is gonna take the money he is saving from Enc/Lowell/AGon/Conine and putting it to Raffy. Lots of speed in the lineup. 1. It's just 2006 Marlins, we don't play in the winter. 2. We are NOT going for Furcal, we would then have 3 leadoff hitters, and if we did get him, how would they set the line-up up? Pierre, Castillo, Furcal - or Pierre, Furcal, and Castillo 7th?? 1- Thanks, I had my mind in basketball. 2- I like Pierre, I think he is great for covering the large centerfield at home and is a threat on the bases. However, he isn't our leadoff hitter anymore. He will probably get somewhere at the bottom of the lineup at this point. Furcal Castillo Delgado Cabrera Hermida LoDuca Pierre Aguila (P)

Todd Jones got shafted
Jones is gonna get his reward this offseason. A nice big free agency contract.
