4/9 Post Game
Have tix for Sat vs Braves. Put them up on seatgeek and spending $300 to go to Panther game instead. Hard to care.

Andriese selected, Emanuel DFA'd, Bride optioned, Rivera activated
So much excitement with this team.

Marlins Whopper Promotion
No way the burger is that thick in real life.

This team blows
Half of this team and most of these pitchers they've brought up do not even belong on an MLB roster. Do they really expect fans to show up even though they are encouraging you to bring instruments to the games

This team blows
This team blows because, best example, game 1 was a win if you had reasonable quality major league player at bat in extra innings with man on third and less than two outs. Think that Berti would have been up understanding the situation. Instead we get a Bride or a Brujan and we get weak grounders, double plays. This is the crap we are dealing with.

3/29 post game
They were really playing Avi up on TV saying how hard the balls were hit.

Berti to Yankees
According to the story on mlb.com he's not even ranked in the top 30 prospects for the Rays so I don't know where they get he is a fringe top 20 player in Rays organization

All You Can Eat Seats
Remember when they first did this, they had Miggy Cabrera in the promo. Unfortunately, his payoff was all he could eat also and it showed. He went from about 190-200 to 240 in a week.

2023/24 Off-Season
Seems like he is getting guys with numbers so bad that outperforming them is more likely than not, then Bendix can claim success.

Going to FanFest? Share your images from it
Completely accurate assessment. And the autograph sessions had lines so long that it made it not worth waiting for. About the only thing better than previous years was all the concession stands were open with not long lines. So at least you didn't have to starve

Going to FanFest? Share your images from it
Going, but the timing is annoying. Yea, they could not do it tomorrow as Skip out of town to accept award etc. But a Friday night, rush hour traffic etc. If my Gkids didn't love going so much, I would avoid it but they have been going for 6 years now, since the oldest was 3 and she loves baseball and the Marlins. So, I leave my office early for them. I expect that Marlins do expect a much lower turnout and could also skimp on activities.

2023/24 Off-Season
Bendix must have been issued a phone that actually works.

Season is over we are the worst team ever
Actually, bodes very well as the new park is only expected to seat 30k for baseball. Very intimate park.

Buck is done with Mets
Said he was proud of what they did this year? Really?

9/30 at Pirates - 6:35 PM
The 27 Yankees would be shaking on their boots against our lineup. Praying for no drama and fish scoring fast and large.

Official Wild card hunt thread
Are you sure? Just listening to Steve Phillips on MLB radio and here is what they said "At the top of the hour we will discuss the teams fighting for the playoff, Rangers, Astro, Mariners, Diamondbacks and Cubs" Swear to god this is what they said, then a bit later "and guess what, the Padres still have a chance if the Marlins and Cubs lose all their remaining games and the Padres win all their remaining games". Cross my heart-this is the crap.

9/28 at Mutts - 7:10 PM
Liking the lineup without a strggling Sanchez, thanks for the home run, and Stallings. Despite the low average, don't you always feel like Fortes has a better chance of getting a hit than Stallings

9/27 at Mutts - 4:10 PM (Doubleheader)
That's so bad. Can't wait for electronic Umpire
-
9/23 vs Brew Crew - 4:10 PM
Umpire can steal the season with these strike calls

Sixto to Double-A; One Inning/20 Pitches Scheduled Tuesday
I keep looking through this thread and didn't see where Clevinger's name came up. I remember him from his Yankee days closing for Whitey Ford, but guys, as much as we need help, he died in 2019. RIP Tex Clevenger.

Scoreboard Watching Thread
Definitely looked good, but being Mr Negative, worry about with a different ump could have had a few more walks. Angel's strike zone was incredibly large last night, for both sides.
