March 20, 20242 yr Best idea I ever heard from the Marlins. You will probably end up spending that much money anyway on a ticket plus one serving of food. Might as well make it all you can eat. I don’t know how accurate that “starting at $52 is” I just checked the Marlins website and it said that it’s for seats in the legends level (201-204). I just checked for example on Wednesday April 3rd vs the Angels. Tickets start at $46 for the legends level. Probably that tweeter just picked one random game or opening day and saw that $52 price. But it is a little bit cheaper than that depending on which day you go. I’m guessing once word gets around those will be the fastest sold tickets for all us fat asses to satisfy our gluttony.

March 20, 20242 yr Haven't they had these? Or were they just the "4 for $44" thing with like 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 drinks and 4 popcorns or something like that?

They still have that type of promo. But it’s of course limited to just 1 item of each per person. If you think about it.. $45-$55 for a ticket with unlimited food and soft drinks is actually a good bargain for big eaters. Of course I’m sure they are probably counting on families going and paying that price per person and youngsters will maybe just eat one hot dog and a drink and some chips and be full. 😂 But if I ever went and bought that ticket you know I would take fulll advantage and get my moneys worth. 2 hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, cookies, 3 refills of drinks… and more if I have space. 😂 Edited March 20, 20242 yr by SirFishFan

March 20, 20242 yr While this is probably a good deal, I'm thrown off by the initial thought of a $52 ticket being a deal. My first thought when I saw this was holy crap why would I pay $52 for a ticket when I usually get a ticket for under $30. That's a drastic jump and I know that doesn't take into account fees and what you'll pay on food and parking and whatever else. But still, from a marketing perspective it's not as instantly appealing to see $52 as when something is $0.99, $9.99, $20, $25, etc. I wonder if they could have gotten away with making these $49 and maybe it would have worked better?

That’s because the deal is probably not supposed to be marketed specifically as an “all you can eat for $52” as a set price. It’s seems to fluctuate based on I don’t know what? Maybe inventory or certain games. Case in point I just checked and: Marlins opening day on March 28 the tickets are starting at $52. Apr 3rd a day game vs the Angels the tickets are starting at $46 Apr 14 a day game vs the Braves the tickets start at $71. I looked over a few games over different series to see the prices and while the majority of them are $52 a lot of games as well are priced at $71 for those tickets especially the series vs the Red Sox. But based on the fact that as of the time I’m writing this post the all you can eat tickets are selling for $46 for the April 3rd game makes the part about “tickets start at $52” not factually correct. March 21, 20242 yr Remember when they first did this, they had Miggy Cabrera in the promo. Unfortunately, his payoff was all he could eat also and it showed. He went from about 190-200 to 240 in a week.
