DFA everyone we have no chance to win tomorrow

Win or lose, can we enjoy the ride?

I honestly feel if we lose this series, Sherman is gonna make moves. Do we try and keep soler and bell? Do we try and get another SP? Keep Roberstron as a set up for Tanner?

I was in cloud 9 during this game. Didn't get mad or stressed out. Laid down and listened for most of it.

I feel like this is the beginning of some good years. And our trade deadline buying worked out for first time in a while.

Guys let’s be honest.. The Marlins are probably not going to the WS this year, even if they somehow make it past the Phillies. So just enjoy the game tomorrow with no expectations. And appreciate that the Fish made the playoffs, even without Sandy at the end or Eury Perez for most of the season.

At the beginning of the year I wrote a bunch of posts on this forum discussing this idea that “The best thing that the Marlins can do to ensure a successful 2026 season is to start winning this season.”

It could be that this isn’t the Marlins season to win the WS or even go to rhe NLCS, however it could be the catalyst that will help the Marlins down the road. Perhaps in the offseason a bigger free agent signing or trade or resigning some current players and start to build a solid core for the next few years. And maybe next year the Marlins finish in 2nd place in the NL East and get the 1st place wild card outright. And then then they make the NLCS that year, and sign even better caliber players. And then maybe in 2025 finish 3 games behind the Braves.. and so on. You see where this is going..

The point is that I wouldn’t look at this season as WS or bust.. in the bigger picture with the mindset of building a winning culture for the Miami Marlins.. this season was a very important first step. Skip’s first season as manager.. positive trade deadline moves.. some good call ups with Eury and such.. a good foundation.

Imagine the Marlins going forward with Eury, Trevor Rogers, Sandy, Sixto etc.

Of course the Marlins could very well end up winning the WS this season. It would be great. But win or lose tomorrow. There is still reason to celebrate. If it’s the last game of the season for them tomorrow.. then at least we got to see the Marlins playing post season baseball for just the second time in the past 20 years. Every other year.. @TaiwanMarlins would have already created an off-season thread by now. 😂

Feed me dadddy

You make your husband vacuum and cook for you?

Sheesh, you spend 28 out of 30 days a month away on “business” and the two days a month you are home you make your poor husband come up from the basement and his busy job of running Marlinsbaseball.com just to make you a grilled cheese and tomato soup? 😂

I know you work hard as the breadwinner of the house.. but still you could fulfill some of your wifely duties and at least cook him a nice cheese omelet and hot buttered toast for breakfast.

🤣

Wtf?

Jazz and Soler 0-27 with 19 ks this playoffs. Put wendle in

If DLC got on base, Wendle was going to hit a game tying homer last night. 😞

Wendle is 0-34 hitting off the tee in the batting cage
