8/7 Post-Game Thread
We have to face Moyer AGAIN? How does that keep happening??? Hamels we can beat, but Moyer is our kryptonite. I believe the Phillie's continually adjust there rotation so that Moyer faces us as much as he is able. It was in an article at some point last year but it's been written about.

Is there a place where we can watch the ground breaking live?
I don't think so unless FSN has something, though you could watch the ballpark webcam...not that you can see much but I suppose better then nothing. My hope is that they will show some of it on the pregame show or during the game tonight.

Who would you vote for in 2012?
I honestly couldn't say for sure this early, maybe Huckabee, I am on the fence about Romney. For the love of god it better not be Palin, or a Bush. Jindel I know nothing about and I wasn't impressed by what i Have seen.

Erin Andrews hit by a foul ball at mets game
ESPN reporter Erin Andrews was struck in the chin by a foul ball at a Mets-Dodgers game at Citi Field on Wednesday night -- news that sent a mini-panic through the Newsday office moments ago. When the news was announced by a deputy editor, fellow male staffers scurried to the Internet to learn the fate of the pulchritudinous sideline reporter. (One worried staffer asked, "Was it in the face???") Fortunately, it looks like Erin will be OK. As if the Mets couldn't be any more disliked than they are right now, it was journeyman infielder Alex Cora who hit the foul liner that struck Andrews in the fourth inning. My linkhttp://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/watchdog/blog/2009/07/erin_andrews_hit_by_foul_ball.html Thank God, I would have no reason to watch Espn anymore if not for Erin !

^ Hopefully they're at the game! true that. If I was down there I would definitely spend my day off watching JJ vs the Nats

July 01 - Marlins vs Nationals
JJ looks good, attendance in the game thread seems a little low for a day game.

Marlins interested in Mark DeRosa
Anyone who defends bonifacio after seeing he has a .502 ops since the first week is a dummy. Gotta love that speed! from the on deck circle, to the batters box and right back to the dugout he's the fastest I have ever seen !!!!

6/16/09 Marlins @ Red Sox

Is a meal a meal without meat?
I can have a meal without meat...but Most of my meals usually have some form of meat. Breakfast is the the meal I would say I eat the least amount of meat in. Dinner is the most.

I say this with all due respect, but boner needs to be fitted with concrete shoots and tossed into lake Okeechobee ..and I mean that with all due respect... Eric, when you told me this over the phone I thought to myself "You are a murder". Now I know you are planning this :o . It's not murder, it's just a life correction. :mischief

Airplane rides...
I do understand the fear of flying to a degree, Someone strapped into a tube at 37,000 feet going mach .7 and only the 2 pilots knowing whats really going on. That lack of control for the passenger can be scary. Me being a pilot im a bit biased but driving on the interstate is much much more scary to me. I saw a guy talking on his phone with one hand, eating something with the other and driving with his knees at what I can assume to be 80 miles per hour on the highway the other day. With texting teenagers and drunk drivers behind the wheel on the interstates I take advantage of flying to where I have to go whenever possible.
