In fact, considering his defense at 3rd is average at best theres no way to really justify him starting every day either.

But Nolasco was a fluke last year believe me he will be out of this team by next year, and Pinto is terrible, and with all the terrible guys like Jorge Julio that he's picked up it's nice to see he gets lucky once in a while with people like Kiko, and Danny Meyer.

But I am sure you will post the numbers to remind me. :thumbup I do remember that the guy he was traded for was a fan fav, so he already had one strike against him before he even took the field. And I also remember that we had the option of signing only 2 of 3 IFers that were eligable that off season. We went with Castillo and Mikey, the right choice at that time. There was no way to know Lowell would go on to have the worst season of his career. And can anyone imagine the outburst if they had kept DLee and traded one of those 2 instead?? We also all knew getting DLee into the Friendly Confines would greatly increase his offensive output. Hitting dingers to RF at Joe Robbie wasn't the easiest thing to do at that time.

 

But I'm not surprised some are still bringing that trade up. Selective memories are great for "proving" yourself right.
