Whoever read the announcement said he will need about two months recovery time, so the rumor going around is that he may have had a stroke. He has had minor strokes in the past, but this is just a rumor right now.

For the first time in 47 years, Fidel has handed over power to his younger brother Raul. There are always rumors that Fidel is sick, but apprently this time, it was serious enough to hand over power. Fidel is in the hospital and undergoing surgery for some sort of intestinal bleeding. What was unusual is that Fidel himself did not make this announcement, rather it was a member of his government. Fidel usually likes to make important statements himself, so he must be unable to appear on camera. Even though this is unprecedented, this isnt a huge change, because the U.S will not support handing over power within the family and will only support having free elections. This is all per CBS4.

Im sure you were given follow-up instructions, but I believe that if the pain is still there like a week after surgery, you need to go back in because there is a possible condition called dry sockets that can occur after removing wisdom teeth. I had it, so I know the pain, but it can be fixed.

I like an unbalanced schedule, but it seems hockey has gone a little too unbalanced. This season, the Panthers play the Northwest division teams 1 time each, on the road, so no Luongo at the ODC, the Pacific teams 1 time each, at home, and dont play the Central division teams at all.

Its not determined by top 5 in each league. Not all of those guys will even be at the all-star game. They announced 6 of the 8 participants on the selection show, but i dont remember them.

Schedules have yet to come out to my knowledge. Yeah, but with the unbalanced scheduled, we face Western conference teams either none, once, or twice, and its on a rotating basis, so this year we are scheduled to play the Canucks once, in Vancouver. The Panthers and Luongo will face each other once this season, with Florida scheduled to travel to Vancouver. I don't believe the Canucks come here next season. I could be wrong, but I think we only play them once this year and its in Vancouver.

Its funny how things get turned around after the fact. Arison said said "Stay White" and then immediately "Stay Hot", obviously referring to White Hot the slogan. And there was no crowd really when she messed up the name. (and in case youre curious, Wade Jones was the name of her campaign manager, so thats why it entered her mind). All of the proclomations were done inside the arena with only media and I guess family members and Heat employees present.
