Heading into the final sim of the regular season I am 2 games ahead of the Dodgers.. Jeff Baker is a beast. The Dodgers spent so much money over the offseason.. if they don't make the playoffs I think the owner might die.

The Nationals have discussed a Wily Mo Pena deal with the Reds, but the Washington Post believes they don't have the pitching to pull it off. GM Jim Bowden denied a rumor that a three-team trade that would have sent Shea Hillenbrand and another player to Cincinnati, Pena to Washington and Brad Wilkerson to Toronto was talked about. The Reds no longer have any reason to move Pena or Austin Kearns, though they could still consider it in the right circumstances We have pitching.. :mischief2 23-years old, only making 440k and has played a little bit in CF. Don't know if Cincy would trade him but putting in a offer couldn't hurt. Thoughts?

Jeesh, with all these prospects we could possibly trade for any cheap, young, and talented player in the league if the team that has the player(s) we want are willing to make a trade.

Nolasco sounds like he could turn out to be a stud.

The Chicago Tribune believes the Cubs are offering pitchers Sergio Mitre, Ricky Nolasco and Renyel Pinto to the Marlins for Juan Pierre. Not bad, though the Marlins could try to do better. If acquired, Mitre would go right into Florida's rotation. The other two should probably begin the year in Triple-A.

OMFG... WTF? Now I am really pissed. Aren't we trading everyone away so we can KEEP Willis and Cabrera??
