1. This might not be the timeliest shout-out, but for anyone that was at the game on Friday, you were hopefully part of that badass wave. No one can be sure which section started it, but it was right field that wouldn?t let it die. Around the 6th ining that thing just took off, it must have circumnavigated the stadium 10 times. If Juan hadn?t stolen 2nd?who knows, it might still be going now. Each time it?d look like it was about to fizzle out in the gap between left and right, but, the right field fans would pick that thing right back up again with 99% participation. That was a lot of fun to be a part of.
2. I'm going tonight and I'm glad that wind's blowing SE because right now there's this gigantic mass of thunderness to the west.
3. I'm going to the game tonight, but tomorrow's is gonna be the game to see. Patterson's ERA is 2.58. I have both Patterson on my fantasy team, but I wouldn't mind seeing him get lit up because I also have Burnett. ; )
4. I heard on 790 this morning that odds are Lowell will stay. If that's the case the slot for Hermida would be in Right Field. The interesting part of the discussion was the fact that Cabrera has spent most of his pro stint in the outfield and that in a division like our own it's important to have a strong corner like Lowell.
5. The real #1 basketball team ain't in Illinois ; )
6. I would like that trade, but I thought he was off limits.
7. Pay the toll for us when we win like the Dolphins do!!
8. I think the D-Rays' ownership is much worse than the Marlins'. The guy won't reinvest any money into the team. Also the D-Rays have no pitching. They have Baez. That's one team I'm glad I'm not obligated to be a fan of.
9. No. 864432 Not if we have to pay him to play elsewhere... 864435 That hit was amazing.? I heard them on the tv last night saying how he was DH in college.? He's like Willis, wins his own games...at least tries.? I thought Vargas looked sharp, but his velocity was a little low I thought.? Also, what pitches was he throwing?? It looked like changeup/fastball to me...does he have a strikeout pitch? 864655 What do you expect? He was in low-A ball to start the year, they don't usually have to fast of a fastball. 864658 Yeah fair enough, it's still of a hell of a lot faster than I can throw. It's amazing to me that he did so well. Does anyone know what pitches he packs though?

11. Yeah, I wouldn't say that Leiter's gonna be haunting the team yet. Not showing loyalty to Lowell might come back for some regret, but that's the money game. It'll be interesting to see what changes actually happen.
12. Thanks for adding a new thread about this.
13. Those jerseys are awesome. In MVP I always wear the retro teal.
14. You know what, I'm probably asking for a lot of punshiment by saying this, but I'm gonna throw it out there...With all of Beckett's problems staying healthy, why not make him a closer? Vargas, Moehler, Olsen, Willis, Burnett(whatever we get for Burnett). Do you all ever think about it?
