It's still a good rivalry but I think it was at it's peak at 2003 with the ALCS. Since the Red Sox won it all in 04, I've found it to be somewhat overblown especially by the media. That being said, no other rivalry in baseball can compete IMO. my favorite game between them was in the 2004 regular season, when a-rod and varitek fighted. i remember in '03 when pedro threw don zimmer to the ground. i love the games when they start throwing at each other-head hunting. My favorite game between both rivals as well ,even I believe that series was great just like the ALCS.

I think he is and was one of the most talented recievers. He still has some game in him he should not retire just yet. He was an important asset to the Jaguar offense.

I believe it is the best rivlary, I mean it has blood, history, sweat, and tears. This will always be the best rivlary in all of sports for a very long time. In every game you never know what you are going to get.

I think many Marlins should have recieved Gold Gloves including Alex Gonzalez, Pudge(2003) and Juan Pierre. Juan Pierre ? Great guy but defender ? With his school girl arm ? No way. Hey Juan Pierre made some unbelievable plays in his tenure with the Marlins. His range was a lot better than half of the centerfielders in the Majors. Now the con is his arm. But my argument is that he caught balls that even Jim Edmonds could not catch.

A few friends went to the game tonight, and they swear that a stadium usher told them that the whole stadium crew was informed that the Marlins will be announcing this Monday a deal for a 40,000, retractible roof stadium just off I-75 in Miami Gardens. It will be among the top third or so markets in MLB. I think more like top 5 but I think they will spend some money.

Tough to call a good game when our pitchers can't throw strikes. He's gone a good job. I believe the catcher if he is a good one should have some type of control over the pitcher. He should be a leader to the pitchers especially since Olivo is a veteran. He should be taking control of the game not the pitcher.

To me this team is pretty damn good. The only thing they need is to kick out Herges and earn some experience. It seems to me that they play a good 6 innings and always cough up the lead late in games. But when they earn their experience combined with their great talent we can win some games. The more games they play the more that they will learn how to win.
