Heywood Jablowme
Says he won't yell, or prefers not to manage that way. He says he prefers to teach. :mischief2 He'd better get to the blackboard and start 'splaining to these boys :thumbup
Hollyberry
I agree with him. You don't have to yell at them to get the point across.
prinmemito
He should yell and, if necessary, throw chairs at them.
Michael
throw chairs at them. Haven't you been watching the Boondocks? THrow a chair, and people start fighting.

Fish Tank Frenzy
I dont agree with his approach. I dont agree with many of his managerial decisions. I think that Girardi will be our manager long enough to "teach" these young kids to play major league ball then he will be fired and someone will come in ala Jack and really light a fire under these guys. Mauer7
constructive critism is what is used. the only time he should yell is if a player doesn't hustle or made a mental mistake..
Accord
I guess i'm one of the few people here who actually misses Jack.

Guest Festa
Jack didn't get fired he retired. He was almost fired in July by Beinfest before Loria stepped in. It was pretty evident by the middle of last season that he had completely lost the clubhouse (and it turned out to be true). They 'lollygagged' at a rate that must have been a major league record. He also did a terrible job of managing a bullpen that most of us thought was going to be good after the acquisition of Villone. Lets not forget how the man wouldn't let guys like Hermida and Willingham play when the older guys were struggling big time. He rarely gave everyday guys days off and it cost us big time in late September. Last year is heaven compared to what has happened so far this year but it wasn't the greatest of experiences with Jack McKeon in charge. TheDon
Could you imagine what it would be like if Jack was managing this year's team? He already would have made Wellemeyer cry 3 times. He would insist upon bunting the runner over with no outs in the 1st inning in Philadelphia when the final score would be something like 11-7. He could never pronounce Uggla. He would have quit a week ago. This years team is much better off with Girardi.

CYmarlins
if he gets pissed he needs to express that, i kno he holds back alot and that aint good. if he lets his team kno that hes getting upset and things he does then they would respect that more. none the less he fits this team great. Guest CrimsonCane
He should yell and, if necessary, throw chairs at them. That way, he can fill the role of baseball's Bobby Knight that was vacated by Lou Pinella this season.

orlumeca
I think Girardi has to be a teacher but at the same time has to get in the players faces. Hey this is a job he has to be strict and make sure that his point gets across. Because judging from our record his point is not getting through to anyone.
