Tank to AAA
Any word on who is coming up? No, they said it will likely be an to be determined hitter. Rabelo should be following him. So should Burke.

6/3 Postgame thread
At some point were going to have to go women's college softball and stick it out with the starter. Hendrickson needs to go 7 tomorrow. Bottom Line.

6/3 Postgame thread
While it may be easy to look at Fredi here, this is really a result of 2 years of 5 IP from starters. This bullpen's production was just not sustainable with the workload it has received. That being said, I would just like us to settle on a setup man. Miller began the year well, the poof he disappeared and Pinto appeared. Pinto has now disappeared and Lindstrom is now in. We seem to switch each month. Personally, I've just never really trusted Lindstrom and Pinto should have gone out for the 8th. Bottom line: We need SP. Period. Just glad it's a day game tomorrow.

Cameron Maybin
Another good day. 3/5 with a HR and 3B with 0 K's. AVG up to .262. He was in the .230's a week ago. Hopefully he can keep it up.

Calling Shake N' Bake.
His most important attribute: he's not Mike Rabelo. Honestly, I could care less how he hits, just field your position.

Mike Rabelo
He makes me long for Olivo. Wow. Did I just say that?

Post game thread. June 1st.
Nothing new. Same old Marlins baseball. Walks and errors leading to runs. I'm almost numb to the stupidity at this point. BTW still have no confidence in Rabelo to call a game and Fredi's 7th inning circus was dumb, but not unexpected. I can't wait till next year when some of our SMART AA players are ready and we have a more sound team. This year's team is just not good enough to win anything.

And it all goes back to that awful 1st we had. We had Myers on the ropes and take awful swings at the first pitch and 2-0 pitches because we are idiots and don't understand that you don't need tp swing for the fences in PHL. go away The truth hurts no its not the truth. youve probABYL never played baseball. myers just settled down. Really? Swinging at the first pitch when he's walking eveyone is really Myers "figuring it out". Popping up a 2-0 pitch is really figuring it out. Yea, not really. All truth.

5/28 Postgame Thread
Yea I agree, it's easy to blame Miller, Gregg, Olsen, etc. (BTW all do deserve blame) But after I got to thinking about the game last night I kept on wondering what pitch Treanor would have called. I was waiting for that devastating splitter at 0-2 and it just did not come. Then again, Treanor did call 2 straight fastballs to Olivo, so you never know. All in all, I just don't feel comfortable with any part of Rabelo's game. In my opinion, Wild pitches that are caught by Treanor get past Rabelo. Treanor calls a better game and is a superior hitter.

Yet, Jones is batting second and Amezaga is starting and he can't hit lefty's. And to top it off, Rabelo is starting, he can't hit a tee ball. And I hate Helms at 4. Just move Uggla up for today.

Hanley....... Adjust. No more 0-2, called 3rd strike on the outside corner.

5/25 - Giants @ Marlins - 5:10 PM (Game 2)
What else is new... strike 3 called low and outside. Adjust Hanley!

5/25 - Giants @ Marlins - 5:10 PM (Game 2)
I just hope we have De La Cruz on a 50-65 pitch count being that he's on 3 days rest. I'll be happy with 4/5 good innings.
