  1. Eric Karros has openly stated his hatred for the Marlins and has even placed a hex on them.
  2. So stupid we are calling Andino back up. WTF does he do for us? Really. With Andino we still have 24 men on the roster. Call up someone who can pinch hit early or late in the game like a Wood or Gall.
  3. According to the post game show.
  4. I have noticed one thing. On this site everyone wants Hermida locked up next. On the radio, Uggla seems to be the choice. I'm not as hyped up on getting Hermida signed. Especially not as a RF.
  5. MY MAN WES! That's why you swing!
  6. Yep, this guy screws us EVERY series we see him in. That's why I wish a bigger deal was made last night. That was not one bad call, yet a series of awful calls. Maybe if Tosca was at the game last night Fredi would have made a bigger stink.
  7. Sep. 22 looks like the best day for both teams. Reds just stay home for one more day and we just divert to CIN on our way to WAS.
  8. Well, Lary f***in Vanover strikes AGAIN. That guy is the worst ump i've ever seen. Blows a call every series we see him. Game Summary: f***in Vanover f***in Hermida f***in Ramirez f***in Porter f***in Cantu f***in Miller Last 2 nights we have served up runs to the Reds.
  9. I still dont understand how Freddi keeps leaving in Nolasco for so long. Nolasco turns to mush after 70 pitches. Let's ignore that Nolasco pitched well and that a bad call and bad D behind him failed to let him end the inning. Yea really. Any one who watched the game knows he went 5 IP and 0 ER
  10. What an AWFUL game. They should just end the game now and put the whole team in detention for the next hour.
  11. We handed Cincy 6 of their runs. Cantu- 1 Wild Pitch- 1 Tank/Fredi- 4 Final should have been: 5-2 Marlins. (Jr. should have not dropped that ball).
  12. I have no problem losing games when the other team was better. However, I do have a problem losing games when we were better. There was no reason for us to lose this game. We were the better team today, and then blew it. Cantu and Burdenhop caused them 2 runs. No reason Tank should have been pitching either. All around, everyone did their part to blow this game. It really sucks to lose as a result of being stupid. ps I would have liked to see Ross get the start today being that we are playing in a HR park and that he?s been a little hot lately and Amezaga?s been struggling. Also, Treanor should have gotten the start. Again, I have no problem with this streak ending naturally. But this loss was not natural, it was an abortion of our streak. Btw... Dusty Baker is the worst manager in the history of baseball.
  13. That's a depressing story. He seems so down. Hopefully he'll start mashing soon.
  14. Ryan Braun can't spell.
  15. A little more form Barry Jackson: ? With Cameron Maybin (.262) slumping at Double A and Alejandro De Aza only now being cleared to run after an ankle injury, Marlins manager Fredi Gonzalez said Tuesday afternoon he will stick with struggling Alfredo Amezaga and Cody Ross in center field. The Marlins last year pursued Jacque Jones, who was designated for assignment by Detroit on Monday. The Marlins are again talking about pursuing Jones (.285 for Cubs last year), but some internally believe that Jones is more of a left fielder than a center fielder at this stage of his career. http://www.miamiherald.com/1262/story/523555.html

He makes Brett Carroll look like Juan Pierre. Those throws were just sick.
  17. Marlins could have interest in Jones Veteran outfielder was released by Tigers on Monday By Joe Frisaro / MLB.com Jacque Jones batted .165 with one home run and five RBIs in 24 games with the Tigers. (Duane Burleson/AP) Marlins Headlines MIAMI -- Cut loose by the Tigers on Monday, veteran outfielder Jacque Jones has attracted some interest from around the league. A source confirmed on Tuesday that the Marlins have inquired about the 33-year-old. Jones was designated for assignment on Monday. If the Marlins move in quickly on the outfielder, a deal could be worked out in the next day or two. The Padres, according to a second source, also have inquired about Jones. The Marlins have told the South Florida media that they have no comment regarding Jones. Jones broke in with the Twins in 1999, and he was in Minnesota through 2005. The left-handed-hitting outfielder was with the Cubs in 2006-07, and the Marlins a couple of years ago explored a deal with Chicago. Jones got off to a slow start with the Tigers, appearing in 24 games while batting .165 (13-for-79) with one home run, one triple, two doubles and five RBIs. The Marlins have an outfield concern, as Josh Willingham is on the disabled list with a strained lower back. Willingham went on the disabled list with on May 2, retroactive to April 28. The earliest he is eligible to be activated is May 13 when the club is in Cincinnati. It still is unclear if Willingham, the team's cleanup hitter, will be ready by then. If the Marlins add Jones, the veteran would factor into a few roles. He can play all three outfield spots, and he is a candidate to lead off. A few days ago, the Marlins dropped Hanley Ramirez from leadoff to third in the lineup. For now, Alfredo Amezaga and Cody Ross are platooning in center field. Both are leadoff options. http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/news/articl...sp&c_id=fla PASS
  18. Has Justin Miller fallen off the face of the planet?
  19. WTF let Carroll bat No need to waste a pinch hitter. It's 8-2 in the 7th, who gives a sh*t? No need to take another inning off the arm of your best reliever. And give the kid who just got called up an AB. It benefits the club much more long-term.
  20. Be nice to see BC get the AB here.
  21. WHY DID NOT GIVE A CHANCE TO Carroll? I agree. The kid was on fire, let's see what he can do. I'd have liked to see him get the start in CF and give Amezaga the start at SS.
  22. Well Doug Waechter should have been the rotation and Miller in AA about 3 weeks ago. And when Miller sucks again today, we will all rise in disgust again and demand Waechter in the rotation and it won't happen.
