Hotcorner
Fish are now 6 games over .500 since September of '05. Back in 1st place. Great nights for Matt Treanor, Cantu, Kensing, & Gonzo. (& Hanley as usual) Wind up with a winning homestand, 5-4. Great rebound after some tough losses to the Dodgers. Mark Hendrickson with a very short outing but as long as these guys can keep us in the game, our bullpen is working wonders. Kensing was nasty out there. LordMagnus
Complete team effort. That's what it takes to win consistently.
Erick
Positives 1. Logan Kensing's middle relief. 2.2 innings of scoreless relief and a win. He retired all batters he faced, and just dominated out there. 2. The 2 out rally. Bottom of the 5th...2 outs, no one on, and we get 4 runs in the inning. 3. Justin Miller hasn't really gotten much work the past week and a half, but he threw a perfect 9th, and got 2 K's out of it. Good signs, imo. 4. Gonzo...how about Gonzo? He is hot! The bench...the depth. Oh, the things Admin Beinfest can do with a 20 million dollar payroll. :notworthy 5. 6 games over .500 (season high) 6. A winning homestand after starting 0-3, then 1-4...we end up going 5-4 on the homestand. Negatives 1. Hendrickson only gave us 4.1 innings. (on the bright side, he did not break...he kept us in it, and made some good pitches with men on base). 2. Lindstrom allowed a run in the 8th...hadn't worked in some time though. mountainfish
They're using the Bill Parcell's formula to stay in first place. 1) They are over .500 at home. 2) They are beating the teams they are supposed to beat. 3) They are 9-5 in the division. They've got to take the next three series because the last half of the month is going to be brutal.
EricWiener
I thought Hendrickson was a positive, because he showed that he can get it done even when everything is not working.

Erick
How about giving Freddi Gonzalez some credit? Seems like no one ever does. Ever since he put this new lineup together...we're 5-1. Also, how about a sweep without our best clutch hitter in the lineup (Willingham)? And winning, smoothly, tonight without Willingham AND Mike Jacobs? :thumbup

AdrianneLove
Ryan Braun can't spell. There were people sitting behind us chanting that all the time after the 5th, I think. At first.. I thought it was funny.. then it just got annoying lol
AdrianneLove
Ryan Braun can't spell. who is that? 2007 Rookie of the Year. Right fielder for the Brew Crew. Edit: Left fielder. lol
MarlinFan10
Just got home from sitting in the front row above the visiting dugout. Totally sweet being a couple of feet from Craig Counsel in the on deck circle.

Hammerhead
Against a lineup that isn't inept, Hendrickson would have gotten mashed. Thank god for the Brewers and for the bullpen.
Erick
Against a lineup that isn't inept, Hendrickson would have gotten mashed. Thank god for the Brewers and for the bullpen. "would have" and "if" don't count in life. It's all about the FACTS...we won. :thumbup Also, Hendrickson made those pitches. Bases loaded, 1 out with Braun up for example...he threw a perfect pitch, and jammed Braun. He struggled tonight, but he deserves a minimum amount of credit, for making pitches, at the most critical times tonight.

industrialescampeon
I love winning without Hammer and Jake, and when our starting pitcher goes 4 2/3 only. This is saying something about our team, and it can only mean one thing: they have what it takes to win!
