The Rays have a track record. The Marlins have a long history of failure. You can't blame people for being bitter and not "trusting the process". I think the Marlins have defied their overall talent level this year. They are probably closer to the team that started the year before getting hot.

How good is Kyle Stowers? I don't really know. You'd think replacing a power hitting outfielder would be easy, but this is the Marlins.

The Marlins could sneak into the playoffs, but definitely not a contender to win. That being said, I think most people are rightfully jaded with trading guys for future pieces because it just hasn't worked as much as it needs to. The Marlins history at making trades is just grim. Even the guys who were can't misses seem to not pan out here....

So basically the organization is terrible at making trades.

The problem with trading Sandy is that the pitching rotation is very thin to begin with. I'm not sure this an area where you can just keep moving chips towards the future and expect to be competitive.

I don't see the Marlins getting much of anything for these players. Trading them to get low to mid minor leaguers makes no sense to me.

Bandwagon fan is awesome. Following the Marlins in normal down years is bad for your mental health. No shame in being a bandwagon fan. I think its funny this team is winning despite making no effort to do so by the front office.
