I think it’s their lack of pitching depth, injuries, Fairbanks and Faucher being dog shit, and an unfortunate slump for some our best hitters that are the culprits. 5 hours ago5 hr July has been eerily similar to 2023. Team was playing well going into the ASB and then bamn..... 8 game losing streak. Silver lining is that the team in 2023 still made the playoffs. And the Marlins offense is objectively better than it was in 2023- even after they added Bell and Burger. I would also add that *if healthy* Sandy, Eury, and Max are probably better than what we had going into the playoffs in 2023 as far as starting pitcher go. Back end of the bullpen though..... that needs some work.......
