Seriously though, I see them hitting their stride, winning a few series towards the end of April and winning more series when the calender turns to may. I think this team can finish months with 15-20 wins, once they figure out who they are. Solano needs to go though, and JP needs to be replaced late innings. New park location cuts off 40% of Marlin's previous fan base. Marlin's plan to replace them with a Hispanic base has failed. The only hope for significant attendance is HIspanic ownership of the team. TV ratings show that the Marlins no longer have a real fan base. Oh not this shit again!

Somebody ( I can't remember where, but I am almost 99% sure it was on this board) that Reporters were going to meet up with protestors at the game and interview them for a story they were PREPARING, not a story they were reporting. The sole intention was to become the story at the game, and for that I hope those fans are banned for life from attending a Marlins game. They went in looking for trouble and they found it. Too bad this isn't Cuba (as much as everyone wants to pray it is), and Jeffrey Castro couldn't get them executed in the back for treason. Why go to a game to protest? Your out looking for trouble. I'm sure they did something to make other fans uncomfortable and they were removed. I can't see anything good coming out of a situation where you go to the game just to tell others you shouldn't be there. We aren't getting the full story. When 14 Dominicans sitting in 8 seats aren't getting ejected while they are drunk and looking for a fight with two Americans, I can't see a few signs getting someone booted. Not at all.

Jose Fernandez could bring more fans to saturday game i may go see him pitch before he trade to blue jay Fernandez won't be going anywhere any time soon. He's cheap, so we'll be seeing him for a few more years.The problem is he'll be going somewhere a year earlier than he would otherwise because of the FO genius in calling him up from single A. I don't mind calling him up, if he can compete. So far he has.

This is the sad state of major league baseball in Miami right now. It's so sad, and so unneccessary. Sometimes I really wish Loria had taken the team to Las Vegas or San Antonio. That's a foolish comment. Your not a fan of baseball in South Florida if you'd rather see it get relocated. Not at all.
