Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone can link me to the hats the Marlins are using for Spring Training. Seen some people around Marlins Park last Saturday at the Winter warm up. The one with the black and orange combination. If someone can post a link to purhcase it. Also is it fitted or adjustable? Thanks! The ones at marlins park were fashion caps you can but at lids. The real ones don't drop until the 22. The on fields will be fitted with some sort of Micromesh fabric

Yeah, Madson who missed the entire year ... That would have worked out better than Bell. Seriously, it would have. Would he have gotten injured with the marlins? I'm not sure when he got hurt, but I believe it was at spring training. And with hindsight being what it is, he signed a one year deal- and still had a Better year injured than Bell did . I blame Bell for the demolition, not Loria. Bell gave Loria the gun and Loria just pulled the trigger.

I would have made it a point to sign Pujols, Reyes and Bell. Yes Bell was a bust but he had a 3 year deal. I would have given up what I needed for Gonzalez and signed him like the Nationals did rather than sign Buerhle. If they would have traded Pujols this off-season after he signed that contract and left the Cardinals, I truly believe Selig would have tried to take control of the Marlins "in the best interests of baseball" since it would have been clear Loria insinuated to Pujols that he will never have been traded. I also think Pujols and Reyes would have kept the team in check, such as Bell's BS in May. Bells signing, I wouldn't change. It signified a change in Front Office philosophy which on it's face was good. In hindsight, he wasn't the right one for that change. Papelbon, or Madson would have been a better option.

Can we all agree that murdering innocent people is bad? Because I've seen way to much "I'm not gonna excuse his killing spree but..." where they go on to excuse his killing spree because the LAPD is corrupt. Ofcourse, I completely agree. I find it saddening that his manifesto eventually led to the case of his firing being reopened, and he's been proven right according to some news outlets. I wonder if his charred remains are truly his....

Is the black guy dead yet? In this thread it seems like the black dude dies and another appears on the same episode. I'm concerned of their plight. All of my WD info has come from this thread. I've never read a review or seen an episode.

Fialkov wrote this morning about the potential of signing Weiss. He mentioned the handicapping contract of jovanovski and upshall. I know tallon has never said he's looking to trade him but there is no way you can justify the upshall and Jovo contracts and then say you can't afford Weiss. I think Weiss would get like 4-5 years at around 25 million. I would imagine if need be tallon could buy out upshall or use that new amnesty rule no? He can use the amnesty rule after the season, but not during. Probably why he hasn't signed. Upshall may have some value to a contending team at the deadline as well. Possibly jovo too if the panthers are too far out. A chance at the cup beats golfing in march and April

If I remember correctly, weren't the Indian's looking to be a sign and trade faciliatator with the Draft pick free agents? I wouldn't be surprised to see him traded in the next day or so-- possibly to the mets. They signed one FA with DP compensation earlier in the year, and now to get Bourn they only had to give up a second pick IIRC. Thats why they were okay with being a Sign and Trade team for Bourn, Laroche, Loshe, and others.

The crowd was a decent crowd around 11 or 12, but once it hit 1PM most people had been there for 2 or 3 hours and left. It was dead at 2PM inside, and still kind of busy outside.

They made a joke to each other and kept looking at each other speaking in Spanish lauging the whole time. I understood enough Spanish to know a bit of what they said, but not all. The long and short of it was they realized we couldn't understand all, so they used the language barrier to talk about us behind our backs so to speak. If you've lived in Miami, you know the comments- the general disdain for you once they realize "you don't speak Spanish?" That was followed by the joke im going to keep private. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Jovo's biggest asset is money disappearing out of thin air.... I wonder if he has told the Panthers he'll retire rather than be traded, and if he's retired does his money come off the books immediately? In other words, would we be trading him to a team who needs cap space for a player of little value? I don't know how the salary cap works in the NHL.

I wish they would just forfeit some of these games if they are going to come out and play like this. They just let this team walk all over them and showed no push back. I hope the prospects we have have move us away from this softness this team and organization has had for just about all of the last 15 years or so. I don't want a finesse team. The Panthers play a skill game but don't have any skill. Don't count on that. Youth hockey today teaches finesse and skill over aggressiveness and gritty work. I don't imagine a top 60 pick in the draft having a grit to them ever again. Yes some will go into the corners and bang for the puck- but their finese and skill is what got them there. The days of seeing young bruisers like Lindros or Pronger are gone.

Vs can be changed for @ on every sports schedule. Until recent years "vs." was the only way it was ever written and @ was only used for prices (4 apples @ $1 = $4). With vs. the home team is listed last. Recent years being the last 10+ right? It's been a decade or more since I've seen anything use Vs. to identify the home and road teams.

Did anyone on the board bother going? I went, bumped into three other board members too. It's their business if they want to admit they were there however. There was a decent crowd, but not as good as last year. Better for the fans, but you can tell the buzz was gone. The herald was interviewing people fishing for quotes against the team. Can't wait to see how my words were twisted. And out of all the players, Silvero and "Anderson Perez" were dicks. The other 20+ I met were cool as hell, those two must have been hanging out getting tips on being jackasses from Hanley Ramirez.

At the moment it's a tie between Stanton and Dobbs. Stanton for obvious reason but Dobbs because I like what he has done one the team and looks like a generally good guy on and off the field. I'm going to keep an eye on Brantley. He has promise. Shit, I forgot about Brantley....

I'm actually a Stanton fan from the few times I've met him (going back to 09), but I started to like to watch Turner and Eovaldi pitch last year. All time favorite Marlin, without question Piazza. I also liked Burnett, Lowell, Olsen.

For those wondering- according to Samson Stanton won't be there tomorrow. Bummer for my nephew but atleasf he'll have a fun time. Weird, I thought Stanton was supposed to be at their Trivia thing tonight so I assumed he'd be at the Warm Up as well. Anyone know if he showed for Trivia night? They pulled the Stanton Trivia group package from the online auction- I assumed he wouldn't be going after that.
