Ruggiano still leads all major league outfielders with at least 80 PAs in OPS (1.247). Yes, Harper has more PAs with 269 but he's at .847 with only 10 more XBH than Ruggiano. I think Stanton will wait until Boni comes back to take a few weeks off. I anticipate a trade moving up his Timetable and giving him a bit of comfort knowing the team added a piece to keep itself in contention until he returns healthy. I would rather have a Healthy Stanton the last month of the season then a unhealthy Stanton going into September. Just Saying, he play the ASG, get his first time out of the way- then take care of business.

He's technically on the team even if unable to play but are the Marlins required to have someone suit up? No representative, only need to have all star named for ASG, not play or even suit up. Once he's picked, the marlins no longer need to have a replacement. If he can't play, I see Holiday taking his spot.
