Carlos Lee or Kevin Youkilis?

Featured Replies

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, if you had the choice of trading for a struggling Youkilis (at the time) or a 36 year old Carlos Lee, who would guys rather have at this point?...and please don't say neither. I'd like to get people's opinions on this.

Youk, as he's the Greek god of walks according to Fat Jonah Hill. Would have made pitchers work, I'm not so sure Lee can do that. Plus Youk provides flexibility at 3B and 1b if H2r needs rest.

Neither. Justin Upton is on the block. I want him. I don't even know of we have enough to get him. It would have to start with Yeilch and Fernandez, I assume. Plus the catcher in our system. Realmuto.

Needs more quantity.

Yeah it would. Really we have no where to put him because we traded for Lee. Then we could have thrown Matt D and the pitcher in. Now we'd have to trade Lee or Lomo.
