Flores and Rienzo to AAA, Latos, Cishek back
I'm drunk- I'll process this shit in the morning. My immediate reactions is when did the Brooklyn Squirrels trade Mat Latos to the San Antonio Iguanas and who the fuck is Scott Childress.

Conley back to AAA
Believe it or not- I'd take red as a backup catcher. He called a great game back in his day. I I hope it's to make space for Matty D and then stash him until September when our pitchers start coming back. Hell No Solano, He Won't Go. Hell No Solano, He Won't Go Hell No Solano, He Won't Go

June Draft
One reason- the only tool you end up significantly paying for in free agency is the power tool- everything is routinely under valued. You develop the tool from within the organization, you enjoy 7 years of cheap control and maybe you resign him (Stanton anyone?). This draft was weak, Aiken or Nix are who I wanted and both were reaches. Im fine with this now. I think Daz Cameron and any other kid of a MLB'er is going to be a tough signing- simply because they dont HAVE to play for money- they can afford to go to college and get a degree, simply because as a major leaguers son the money isn't a motivating factor and someone will draft them as a flyer in the 20th round if their stock falls. I have a friend who was who was drafted high by Boston, demanded money, went to UM instead and is now in the Minors anyway. His stock fell, but he's there- he's getting the same change now as w would have gotten without an education first mentality.

June Draft
It was a pretty shitty draft. Some joked that this should have been skipped and rolled into next year. Players r a are being picked in the first round because they have to be picked- otherwise I'm sure many would have been second and third rounders next year. in other words, maybe Naylor is a 6th round pick

June Draft
Umm.... 28 major league teams- 61 times.

June Draft
Supposedly he can move up quickly thought the minors- if his power translates to a wood bat (the Marlins worked him out a few times, I'm sure they made sure he used one)... He can be a powerful force in the lineup- and a powerful force out on the base paths. He just needs to tighten up, start trying o hit for average- and let his power continue to grow naturally.

June Draft
He was the best power bat- and I think that was the mRlins thinking. His hitting and power should only continue to rise. I I hope he eliminates most of his leg kick, but if he develops to the bigs- he'll at least end up like a Matt Reynolds type- all power but low AVG and high K. That's a low ceiling for him numbers wise. He's also supposedly very advanced at hitting for a Hs- a quick bat. I hope he continues to hit for average and firm up. We've had a pretty good run with Powerful Bi-Racial Angels.

To be fair you do that with almost any team and its close to the same results.

2015 draft
I want us to grab Aiken or Nix if they fall to us. Aiken because his ceiling was so high in 2014, and Nix because his stock has risen so much since his 5th round choice in 2014 and his year learning strictly how to pitch. He's added MpH and movement on his pitches, and might have learned a new pitch too. We can't reach for a LF, if he flops in the field- he can't move to right to hide that. We need to draft up the middle and move them as needed if needed. Draft a CF, you can hide them in the corners. Draft a SS , you can hide him at 2B or 3B or in the OF (Juan Lagares). You cant hide a Poor defensive left fielder anywhere except first- and that's if he can play first. Grab a pitcher, our stock is pretty bare right now. If he pans out- you can trade a SP later for a hitter. Or or you know, find hitters from rounds 2-10.

Matt Dominguez DFA'd
I'd sign him just because of his glove and Pop. Id waive him if he doesn't turn it around in AAA and call him up if he hits .280. Anything to get rid of Trollano

6/8 Miami Marlins @ Toronto Blue Jays (7:07 EST)
The Marlins try to go for two in a row tonight, starting with the series opener in Toronto. The starting pitchers tonight are: Brad Hand (Miami) with a 4.24 ERA Marco Estrada (Toronto) with a 3.77 ERA Key Points - Toronto has one of the highest scoring offenses in baseball, and just recently suffered their first shut out of the season. Miami has won three series in a row, and four of the last five. Marlins are 18-6 all time against Toronto, having my last lost 2 of three against the Blue Jays in 2012. Brad Hand surrerended 2 Runs in 6 innings against the Cubs his last time out.

6/7 Miami Marlins @ Colorado Rockies (4:10 EST)
Is that the Marlins Radio Voice Dave Van Horne in the ATT first woman's pitcher commercial?
-
6/7 Miami Marlins @ Colorado Rockies (4:10 EST)
We're going to win. The other guy has an era of 7.55 at home. That same horrible feeling you have, the Rockies have even more of with their guy pitching. Atleast our guy only gave up three runs last game. Kendricks given up 8 HR in 4 games at coors.

6/7 Miami Marlins @ Colorado Rockies (4:10 EST)
You are correct.
- JUST DO IT

6/7 Miami Marlins @ Colorado Rockies (4:10 EST)

(It's taken me two hours to do this)

Jhonatan Solano Designated for Assignment.
But he's not a Solano. And it'll make up for the Martin injustice from a few years back.

Jhonatan Solano Designated for Assignment.
I'd prefer Eric Young Jr. If he can still play 2B and CF

6 Man Rotation?
What do you guys think about going with a 6 Man Rotation after the ASG? I think it would be good for our injured starters, all 4 of them. Rotation would be: 1-Jose Fernandez (Returning from TJ) 2-Henderson Alvarez (Chronic Shoulder Inflamation) 3-Dan Haren 4-Jarred Cosart (Vertigo) 5-Tom Kohler 6-Matt Latos (Bum Knee) And trade one of the extra SP we have (Hand for a bench bat or bullpen arm, since we have Urena, and Phelps both stretched out and Nicolino waiting incase one of the 6 get injured (or just drop to a 5 man after an injury). Thoughts?
