The Marlins don't seem too high on Gaby...or at least Fredi doesn't. you have to figure the only players that came up and got some at bats were Maybin and Gaby and he hit 2HR in Sep. when they used him for 11AB, he went 5 for 11 in Sep. Marlins know how to used time to save them money .We didn't see Logan and he was not even put on the 40 man. You really believe an organization with a prospect with the # that Gaby has produce will not use him, name minor player 2006 for your organization and MVP of AA which no other player in the Marlins organization had never done ,your not going to be high on.I think you and other on here are acting on your bias of the player instead of wanting the best for the Marlins.

Fredi heard my email since he was watching the game on TV and heard our plea. Gaby got his chance thanks to me!!!!!! MEEE!!!!!! (I hope everyone realizes I'm just messing with you all, but seriously, ME) good job gizmo :thumbup but I don't think it's forgettable after watching it in slow motion he just mist a bomb a little on top of the pitch. The difference between a pop fly and a home run is like... a quarter of an inch... EVERYONE misses a bomb by a little I agree but you have to hit the ball and it has to be a strong swing.

According to boston.com, the Red Sox ask about the availibility of Gaby Sanchez. 1. Gaby Sanchez, 1B, Marlins - The Red Sox inquired about the big righthanded hitter, who has spent the season at Triple A (New Orleans) after it was thought he’d start for the Marlins out of spring training. With Hanley Ramirez red-hot and a top pitching staff, Florida, which is serious about staying in the National League East race, is looking for bullpen pieces, but the Sox don’t seem to be in that mode at the moment. They didn't mentioned what the Red Sox were offering, but apparently it wasn't enough. Which isn't surprising since the Marlins value Sanchez highly and there is a hole in the order at third base. Sanchez is one of only two major league ready hitters in Triple-A, according to Beinfest. These type of trades can be scary because if the team is willing to move Sanchez it better pretty darn certain that they are only one or two pieces away from making it to the playoffs. And at this time, I don't think one can make that case

Barry Bonds the last 3 he won, Miguel Tejada, Vladimir Guerrero(strong arm aside is not very good), Jeff Kent, Chipper Jones(likely among the worst defensive 3B ever), Sammy Sosa, Juan Gonzalez, Jason Giambi. It is an offensive award. And if you can find me one scouting report not typed up by Marlins1 that says Gaby isnt atrocious defensively at 3rd I will stop saying it, luckily for me those dont exist. You are the only person that has said he is good over there among people who have seen him play the position. The Marlins playing him there is not a good excuse either, this is the team with Bonifacio at 3B and Coghlan in LF currently. The team that loved Miguel Olivo behind the plate despite the fact that he was abysmal at everything besides CS%, among others. now i know you are really ignorant.read the post.
