marlins02 still has not provided me with the situation of which WIOD said the "browning of america" came from. Phil Hendrie? Todd Schnitt? Who was it? I know it wasn't Rush, cause he has the highest respect for hispanics seeing us as hard-working, honest people who are happy to be in United States and are family people. It could have been Phil Hendrie playing one of his "characters" during his show to provoke calls from hispanics as a joke...If someone on WIOD had made a serious comment like that I'd assume that they would be fired.

Hey Arnie, Your lovely WJNA 640 (which covers all of South Florida with it's great signal) is trying to upgrades it's tower and signal. They want to move the tower to near the Palm Beach-Broward-Hendry County Border and pump up power from 7500 watts day/500 watts nights to 25000 watts day/night Possible new Marlins flagship? With that signal they can replace WQAM and WWCN all with one signal. I doubt the Marlins will make a music radio station their flagship station(WJNA 640). 610 WIOD in 2005!

I think Pro Player has the highest capacity for any stadium in baseball. Can anyone else think of a park that can fit more than Pro Player? The only ones I can think that come close are the Vet and Qualcomm, and neither of them will exist next season. Qualcom Stadium has a seating capacity of 47,972. Veteran Stadium has a seating capacity of 62,382.Just a quick side note:Mile-High Stadium had a seating capacity of 76,098 (For baseball play.) when the Rockies played there.

I think A-Gon just passed Kurt Abbott as Marlins all-time HR hitting shortstop! Indeed...I was thinking it would be Renteria he would be passing though. A side note,good move by Jack Mckeon to replace Conine in left with Harris. Give Conine some rest but allow him to swing the bat so he doesn't go cold first.

Just got tickets for Game 3, there in the Upper level but I'll be there. How are the upper level seats? I'm just wondering. The Upper-Deck seating is not that bad actually....You get the complete view of the field. I was surprized...Not bad.

I would have been there too if I didn't live over 175 miles away and had family visiting. I can't go to the NLDS game either. That stinks. I attended Thursday's and Friday's game(Stayed at a nearby relatives house)My dad and I also purchased tickets for Division Series Home Game Two (Game 4). Section 440-Row-27-seats 5 & 6. This is costing us some serious $ but the Marlins are worth it.

Not so smart to wear them in a day game,last night was a better situation to wear them(Black Uniforms). I dislike the black uniforms (And all the new uniforms for that matter.)....I prefer last year's.

Furman, I think this thread is stupid, but all I saw him chugging is some cider. He was definately chugging champagne. As exhilarating as last night was, I'm looking forward to next two games to see if McKeon tips his 25 Player roster hand.? Will we see Banks, Hollandsworth, Mordy, Fox, Castro, etcetera?? ? Will we see Bump?? Think he will want to get some playing time for the final roster.? This is fun. Yes....He may have the starters (Conine,Pudge,etc..) play for 4 or 5 innings then turn to Banks,Fox,etc. or Trader could start them(the bench.). Some of the players are due for a rest . Also,look for Looper to get a chance to pitch.

I went to Thursday's game and friday's game. I live in Cape Coral,So my dad and I stayed at a relatives house not far from JRS after thurday night's game. It was a magical moment when Pierre caught the fly to deep center....I took off my Marlins jersey and starting waving it over my head,I was high-fiving fellow Marlins fans and I even saw a man break down in tears. It was a game to remember.. BTW,Marlins Phenom,why did you steal my avatar? :lol
