Hendrickson is a Rays reject. Yeah but so was Doug Waechter, and looks what he's done for us. Nothing yet. But the difference is that Doug Waechter is a 26-year-old reject while Hendrickson is a 33-year-old reject.

Even after that I would still pick the regular macbook. I will say I like that it comes with 2 USB, 1 Firewire and has up to 7.5 hours of battery life. Other than that these systems are to far off. With more SSD harddrives and changing a few more things it will be ready, but right now its to gimmicky. That was the VAIO, which also comes with a vastly slower processor, half the ram (and more of that hogged by the integrated graphics), a much smaller screen and keyboard, and costs $600 more.

i wouldnt recommend buying this it may be thin and look nice but theres far cheaper options that are just as good for what you would be using this for. people need to understand that a 1.6 with 80gig standard drive is going to be so slow it won't be worth using. The reason the premium jumps in price is because it is what you need. The point of the ultraportables is to have long battery life and to be sleek. I have been a lifelong MAC user, so I was going to see what others thought of the new Macbook Air. It seems like a waste of 3,000 dollars to me. Especially since it comes with nothing, its basically just really thin... anyone agree? Except it's $1800.

Looks a lot like the Moon to me. It's actually a monochrome picture taken through a red filter. Color pictures are forthcoming. But it does look kinda like the Moon. Mariner 10 shows there's not much compositional difference in its surface.

It's also the first image of this side of the planet. When Mariner 10 made three flybys beginning in 1974, its solar orbit was just right so that it saw the exact same side of Mercury all three times it passed by. MESSENGER will pass the planet two more times (later this year, and in 2009), then in 2011 it will enter orbit around Mercury for a high-res mapping and spectrometry mission.

You need a router. You are correct, sir. But get a Linksys router. One with a built-in firewall. It'll kill virtually any chance you might have of getting hacked. I already have a router, instead of paying for the antenna for my desktop, i want to get a direct cable connection. What you have is a cable modem. A router splits the internet connection so you can share it with multiple computers, and typically even wireless routers have at least four cable connections you can plug directly into computers without an antenna. It's called Ethernet.

MacBook Air has no removable battery. That's passable for my iPod and the iPhone, but to hell with that in a Laptop. Take it to the Apple store every 6 months for a new battery. Yay. I don't know what is considered the norm, but I've never had to remove my battery from my Sony Vaio after 2+ years. I'm sure you don't let it drain to 0% power. That's how you end up having to remove your battery usually.
