  1. I hope this stop blowen saves
  2. I still think you have an offense that depend to much on the home run, just about everyone going to the plate swinging at the first ball looking to go deep, sometime small ball get you runs also
  3. Everytime Cantu getz a ground ball I expect him to miss it. Sad, I really miss Cabrera, can we trade to get him back? Have you seen Cabrera's numbers? Not much different than Cantu's. You may want to retract this statement. Are you trying to say you rather Cantu over Cabrera,
  4. MVETOY replied to Erick's topic in Miami Marlins
You want to tell me a ballplayer making money can't get a appointment with a Ophthalmologist, i would bet one will check him for free just to have his name in the press, when he blow a save he can't see, no problem when he save a game, go figure.
  5. I say it before, the two of them annoy me.
  6. I could care less what Minaya thinks about the Marlins or anyone . This just typical GM non talk honestly does anyone expect another GM to say we or any other team sucks Thank you, you say it all

What is the status on Cameron Maybin? i remember in spring training he was the talk,is he hurt or just not ready for the majors.
  8. You are going to hear it either way, take him out, he shouldn't, leave him in, give up runs, should have take him out, you just can't win, i think the team have to at times learn to play small ball, every at bat can't be a home run.
  9. Anyone know how bad is his thumb and how long he is out?
  10. I think the team have to work on one run at a time, everyone going to the plate trying to hit a home run, three singles give you a run, that is why we have so much strike outs,
  11. Seems like it is feast or famine, either it is a homerun or nothing.
  12. It seems some people would post anything to get a respond, well it work for the Mets, no riot and the attendance was 47,000, so the fans who went to see a riot work out well for the Mets pockets
  13. Andrew Miller had a bad first inning, that unwarranted throw to 3rd instead of 1st basically changed the whole inning for him. He seemed to settle down though. The home plate umpire was very inconsistent at times....I'll leave it at that. All in all, it is only one loss. Lets win the series tomorrow and move on to Philly. The team lost, lets just hope their win tonight and move on, stop making excuses about empire, through the season it even out.
  14. Thank you all, when i visit here before my family would invite me to games now that i'm retired i would love to go to many games, i was watching the game last night and the play by play guy was discussing when the team is getting the Hammer back, my wife turn to me and ask who or what is Hammer? it is those things that are annoying, thank you all PS. I still think the announcers are boring.
  15. I'm new to s. fla and love baseball, the only team here are the Marlins of course, would love to be a fan but have a few questions. 1. The team is in first place, great weather and could only draw 12,000 fans to a game 2. when i watch on tv, every player coming to bat have a nickname, how could someone new know the players when all you hear is a nickname, 3. Why don't the announcers talk about the game rather than everything they do all day and what they eat, etc etc. Don't knock me down as i read some of the threads, it seems like you can't say anything negative about the team,
