Just my opinion, Homestead-Miami pails in comparison to other tracks. Make the trip up to Daytona for the Pepsi 400 this July 4th weekend. I'm going to Richmond two weeks from this Saturday, and man, that's a FUN race! LOTS of passing, beating and banging. Who needs superspeedways? :cool well if they can get their act together and make the capacity over 100K (unrealistic), itll be slightly better no question daytona is the best track in the south, but the best track in nascar is the brickyard

30 million short? good news, weve never been this close if metrobus does a good job shuttling people from culmer or civic cnter to the new park, that parking issue becomes a lot smaller. i know ill be taking metrorail to every game

I went to the Homestead-Miami race earlier this year, just to give NASCAR a chance and lemme tell you it was awful. Sure, they go fast but the excitement wears off after about 5 minutes. Then its just boring. And the crashes are always shown on tv but in person they're few and far between. Not enough passing either, one guy will have the lead for way too long. In a country with so many great sports, I don't see how anybody could spend their time watching NASCAR. And honestly, I took a nap during the race. I put my head down and closed my eyes for like 10 minutes. FishFan33 will tell you. If you went earlier this year, then you went to the Indy Car race. The racing of Nascar is much more exciting IMO. :thumbup i was there with sleeping beauty (i mean, miami15) and yes it was the NASCAR race. it wasnt that loud where we were sitting, so it was possible to rest your eyes that was just a boring race, bill elliot led the whole way until the last 2 laps. that was our first race and i know im goin back and miami15 aint at least this year's race will probably mean something...
