I don't want to hear anyone talk about Cabs at 1B

Featured Replies

Today was a perfect example of why he is in the outfield and not rotting at 1B. I doubt anyone will be talking about sticking him at 1B after that monster Vlad-like throw to save the run.

yup that was a great play, and its not also the first time cabs done plays like that to save us an extra run

Cabrera has too much of an arm to waste putting in first base. He is suited for LF and 3B. He cannot and doesnt have the skills to be a first basemen.

I only have one thing to say about cab's at first...Never!!and i got something else to say NLDS eric young got nailed at home by cab's!!hehe

It's GREAT, but not surprising, to see how much more comfortable Cab's is in Left Field.

He sees the ball coming off the bat.

Natural for a young player used to playing 3B and SS.

I used to hold my breath on any ball hit to him in Right.

No more. Cab's is in Control.

And I think it's going to help his hitting.

Confidence counts.

Okay, I say we stick Lowell at 1st and put Cabs at third. :o

Lowells one of the best 3B men in the league.

yea I was just being sarcastic, it's just funny home some people in here talk about bouncing players around to several positions. Everyone expects Miguel to be a SOLID outfielder when this is the first time in his life he is playing that position. Not a lot of players can just go from being infielders their whole life to all of the sudden being a great outfielder. It takes time and I think a couple of years from now (if he hasn;t moved back into the infield) he will be a GREAT defensive outfielder.

put lowell at first cabs at 3rd and conine in left

Cabs had AWESOME defense at third in the NLDS

dude, it's not going to happen....Lowell is the third baseman of this team, and as long as Cabs shares the team with him, Cabs won't play third!

With the men we have, I think Conine 1st, Lowell 3rd and Cabs OF is the best way to use those three...

Lowell at 1st? :lol

what's next....Luiy to left? Humor me, please.

Cabs at 1st is just as dumb and it's not happening.
