September 20, 200421 yr if only we'd used him instead of bump our fortunes may have been slightly different... but then again, had we not been slaughtered by the pirates and expos in the second half... still gotta believe though. we arent mathematically eliminated yet.

September 21, 200421 yr I love how everyone comes out of the closet to cheer him on now. In other news, he could be a cheaper version of Seanez for next season if we keep him on. He's been solid the past few years and I wouldn't mind him as part of the dream amazing bullpen would could have next season.

September 21, 200421 yr He was on fire today and did an amazing job, not to mention the fact that this was his first start since 1998. If Valdez doesn't come back next year, he could actually become a pretty reliable 5th starter for us.

September 21, 200421 yr we'll be left wondering what might have happened, had Weathers started instead of Kensing in the other 2 starts. actually I would've preferred a veteran, even a mediocre reliever like Weathers, starting over a kid thrown into the fire.... but who could've seen that coming from Weathers?! wow.
September 21, 200421 yr many moons ago weathers was a very respectable starter for the marlins. then he was traded to new york and his career as a starter pretty much ended.

I then told him that our announcers actually know English and Len and Tommy try to do the word of the day thing in most games.
