November 9, 200421 yr He really fell out of favor with Jack which ruin any chances of him returning. I rather have him and his antics than Saenez
November 9, 200421 yr Seanez is a better pitcher than Manzanillo. Manzy's era was over 6, if im not mistaken

November 9, 200421 yr does it really matter? he was worth a good laugh every once in a while, until he gave up a grand slam
November 9, 200421 yr Ass Grabber will be missed *Grabs Ass* *Smacks Cup* One of a kind! :thumbup :notworthy
November 9, 200421 yr Manzy added pizzazz to the team. I loved the way he'd jump up in the air after he struck somebody out to end the inning.

November 9, 200421 yr Manzy added pizzazz to the team. I loved the way he'd jump up in the air after he struck somebody out to end the inning. 611378 did you also love how he ruined loduca's first pitch ever seen as a marlin homerun by giving up a grand slam to a guy named terrmell?
November 9, 200421 yr There was a time where he was the most consistant guy out of the pen....that's not saying much but still worth mentioning.
November 9, 200421 yr noway this guy should not be re-signed...seanez should be given a minor league contract and invited to spring training...
November 9, 200421 yr Manzy will be at Spring Training. He could very well EARN a spot on the Roster. This guy is "different." Maybe he'll be a Satchel Paige. Don't write him off. He has earned another chance.
November 9, 200421 yr While Manzanillo "Manzy" was an entertaining character, I don't think he will be back next season, although I wouldn't have a problem bringing him to spring training to see if he earns a spot on the bullpen.

He has earned another chance. 611461 Manzy has been a journeyman pitcher in this league for quite sometime, he wouldve shown some flashes of "Satchel Paige" by now, he was a patch for a sinking ship which was the bullpen
November 9, 200421 yr seanez should be given a minor league contract and invited to spring training... 611451 IMO Seanez is worth a little more thna just a minor league contract and invited to spring training, he should be given a big league contract and probably will get one if not from the Marlins
November 9, 200421 yr Maybe he'll be a Satchel Paige. 611461 I saw Satchel Page, he was a hero of mine, and I can tell you (doing my best Loyd Bentsen imitation) he's no Satchel Page. * I really did see the guy, against the Red Sox in the early fifties.
November 9, 200421 yr Author :confused Manzy was cool. Hopefully he plays winter ball and works on a new pitch.

November 10, 200421 yr Manzanillo is a 36 year old journeyman for a reason. Even when he had that 2 week streak where he was consistent, I knew it we were just one pitch away from seeing the real Josias Manzanillo....and lo and behold, I witnessed it in person when he ruined LoDuca's first game as a Marlin.
November 10, 200421 yr I witnessed it in person when he ruined LoDuca's first game as a Marlin. 611897 LoDuca should have called on his intangibles. Manzy was great before that one pitch. In fact the best week we got from the bullpen this year was in late July when that so-called minor league staff let up 4 runs in some 20+ innings with three starts shortened by rain, injury (guess who?) and a Tejerrible performance. Seanez is no better than Manzy. Both AAAA journeymen in their late thirties with one pitch. Atleast Manzy didn't let up nearly ever inherited runner to score like Rudy. Who knows if he'll be back. If so, it would certainly be as a ST invite.
November 10, 200421 yr What planet do you live on rferry? Stats while on the Fish: Seanez: 2.74 ERA, .212 BA, 1.13 WHIP Manzanillo: 6.12 ERA, .292 BA, 1.64 WHIP And you're trying to make a case for Manzanillo being the better pitcher? Good call. :lol
