Well Rob Dibble deserves it! Jack McKeon has done a wonderful job and has brought a team that was IN THE CELLAR all the way back to win the NL Wildcard!

Ok, so we pay Pudge for the 4/40 that he wants, we get dependable defense and a clutch bat...but then a year, 2 years even three years from now..............how are we going to pay....Josh Beckett , Brad Penny, Carl Pavano, AJ Burnett, MiGUEL CABRERRA and Agon when there contracts are up.

 

 

I loved Pudge and i wish we still had him, i like red, but liked red alot more seeing him twice a week to give pudge a break over everday as a starter

 

but i'm not willing to sacrifice the future of the ballclub and it's LONG TERM succsess for a few more years of pudge...we can find other catchers out there, maybe we'll get lucky again... either in Willy, or a free agent catcher

Can't blame poor batting on Jack. He's a helluva manager, give him time and he'll get it fixed. Last year at this time what was our record, just out of curiosity?

Right after the Marlins won, my dad wondered if they are going to have a Marlins Playoff tape like in 1997. I hope so! Do any of you guys know if we are or not?

I was sad for a moment there... but then i remembered the 'Boston Massacre' in '03 where the sox rocked the marlins 26-8(i belive?) and i felt much better. =]
