March 18, 200521 yr Johnny is damon is an avergae player. If he would have played 2004 in a pitchers park instead of in Homertown he wouldn't have hit even near the numbers he had with the sox. I wouldnt say hes worthless, but hes average and arguably just slightly over average. Defintely overrated. The team isn't but he is.

Bolded statement says it all. The Red Sox run City of Palms Park. The Red Sox told the Marlins not to come. Roger Dean Stadium is run by a partnership with Palm Beach County, the Cards, and the Marlins. The Marlins do not have the control to have told the Red Sox not to come.

To call Damon ovverated, that he sucks, or he is worthless is immature and really shows your 'intelligence'. And to say he is more overrated than any player in baseball is very stupid...especially when there are a few of those on your own team. Dont hate simply to hate.
