jservs7
I remember starting a "Give Love To Encarnacion" thread and even though I was bashed on it, the love has poured through and hes doin pretty "OK" in my book. I say we try and show some love and high spirits for our man at 3rd. I know his slump cant possibly last 4ever, but we gotta back this dude up! I hope people who are goin' to the games are given em' support and I think we should do the same here. LETS GO MIKE! WE NEED THAT BAT! :prayer :cheer :crossfingers :ole :clapping

MarlinsChik305
I feel bad for him. He looks so angry at himself for being in this slump. All athletes have their slumps, and they all get out of it in due time. I wish the best for him, and I hope he starts being his old self again. Im thinking they should bench him for a couple of days so he can get some rest and improve himself. Go Lowell!
Fish Tank Frenzy
You can do it ! One AB at a time. Maybe this year Mikey does the opposite, slumps first half, and tears it up in the 2nd half. If he did that we will be well on our way to October.

FishFan24
Hey Mike we all believe in you and we have faith in you, so don't lose faith in yourself. You're going to get out of this funk, you are going to hit .300+ for the year and a nice round number of 30 HR's is in your future. Just take it one AB at a time. :thumbup
PBMarlin
Looks like Bill Robinson has him tied up like a pretzel.

TimeWrecker
All the luck too my favorite Marlin of all time, and IMO move Mikey back too the #3 spot! He needs too be 3 4 or 5! I think part of the reason is BECAUSE hes hitting deep in order.. its not doing him any good not seeing the action.

Maxx
I think I know how to get Mike out of his funk. They need to start playing Party up by DMX, ever since they changed his song from the last two seasons he's been horrid.
PBMarlin
Watching Mike today it is apparent his balance is totally out of whack. Just about every swing he ends up with his back foot on home plate. He has now spread out his feet more and is squatting a bit more. I don't know what kind of adjustments they are trying, but it looks like he is getting worse and worse from a mechanics perspective. PBMarlin
Mike should take some comfort in knowing several other key hitters in the NL East are off to a slow start Jim Thome - .233 Andruw Jones - .185 Rafael Furcal - .218 Johnny Estrada - .220 Mike Piazza - .
