No.

Read the above link I posted clown.

Happened to me once.

I had to delete AIM completely off my computer and re-download and it worked. Try that and see what happens, worth a shot.

Read the article before you call someone a clown, clown.

The worm sends the following message to all the AIM contacts on a compromised computer: "Hey check out this!" Where "this!" is a link to http://adw[domain removed]eo.com/gallery/pictures.php

And I wonder what "pictures" they are sending a link for. Cmon, you should be smart enough not to click links that aren't from someone you know. Always check the links before you click by hovering over the blue text. And stop using the computer for porn. Problem solved. :thumbup

My main man Edgar (Norton) took care of it

Yeah, that happened to me too. I use Gaim (as opposed to AIM, but I don't think that made any difference), and when it opened in Mozilla, it opened to a dead link. Thanks Mozilla!

I too use Mozilla, and I too was able to block off the attempt by Passion's IM to give me the virus.

If your running XP, open a new user account, transfer all your stuff over there then delete the old account. It's spyware, that takes care of it most of the time.

I got a bad virus from AIM, it wouldn't let me run active x so I couldn't use Norton. I feel the frustration, I lost everything on my comp...

Just because it says pictures, doesnt mean it is.

And I never clicked the link, my computer is used by like 4 people in the frat.

So shut up.

And BTW, the link is sent from people on your buddy list, and those are people I know.

And just so you know guys, the page is a dead link, it isnt supposed to show anything...its a fake embedded link.

That's what you get for clicking on the link in the first place, you moron!

Didnt click it.

A combo of Norton, Ad-Aware, and Firefox squashes that s*** like yesterday's bad meatloaf.
