What can we do...

I think we're seeing the effects of Mike Lowell's slump. If he's the Mike Lowell of old, he fits perfectly in the 4 or 5 hole. And Lowell, somewhat different from Miggy and Delgado, doesn't strike out a lot and drives in guys on third with less than two out.

As much as it sucks to be in this rut, there are some positives. Lowell looks to be swinging the ball better, as does LoDuca. If Jack can figure out how to use the 'pen, I think we'll be alright.

I think the offense will be okay.

I'd rank the Marlins' troubles like this:

1. Bullpen - needs a serious shake-up

2. Starting pitching - Leiter appears to be finishshed and Moehler can stop overachieving any minute.

3. Offense

I dont agree. IMO the offense is the problem if they would be driving in runs we would be on winning streak because the starters have being giving good starts, even leiter has kept us in it.

Thats the spirit :banghead

What the hell our WE talking about with all this WE crap. Do you people really think Beinfest is happy with this team? Do you think this is the team that will finish the season? Changes are coming believe that. If you think the Marlins will be in last place the rest of the season go follow another team on another board please.

the offense is the problem, tie games and one run games put a lot of pressure on the bullpen. If the offense would have been at least decent, we would have won at least 3 or 4 more games last couple of week even with the bullpen blowing their fair share.

Well the Marlins had 13 hits today, so the offense really wasn't the major problem. What lost the game was a sloppy defensive play, the bullpen, and some bad baserunning.

And inconsistent hitting forced the guys to "press" in late situations.

Yes, Easley's error and Lowell's misplay directly led to runs, and Peri-choke always blows it, but if the offense had played with any consistency today there should have been a 1 or 2 run lead instead of a tie game in the 8th.

Guest Moneyball

You all know what's gonna happen right?

Come Tuesday we're gonna score 10 runs. You know what that means right? Bill's job will be safe for another week. This offense is so predictable.

what we need to do is set a consistent line up, all this juggle messes it up, go with the original lineup on the first day even w/ lowell struggling maybe having delgado in front will help him get out of the slump.

1.pierre

2.castillo

3.cabrera

4.delgado

5.lowell

6.lo duca

7.encarnacion

8.gonzo

OR take out the guys slumping, i know its contradicting but try one of the two

1.castillo

2.lo duca

3.cabrera

4.delgado

5.encarnacion CF

6.conine RF

7.easley 3B

8.gonzo

an get rid off perisho and only put bump when we need someone to eat up innings, when we are getting blown out AND WHERE THE HELL IS DANNY GRAVES!!!!! reidling "mr insider" said he would come here, getting him over here, and try to trade for mesa maybe he could help us, because we are not going to get a big time closer or reliever like some of you would like or think we will get with a trade. and no for all you Willingham lovers dont bring him up, cause if we are going to give him a shot i rather have Joe Dillon play cause he put bigger #'s in the minors and thats what you guys are basing when you talk about willingham.

You can fire Bill Robinson. But if that doesn't work, fire Bill Robinson. In the worst case, fire Bill Robinson, but in the end, you can fire Bill Robinson, fire Bill Robinson, or fire Bill Robinson.

If all else fails, fire Bill Robinson.
