Jack: No more line-up shuffling

Featured Replies

This line-up from here on out.

Pierre CF

Castillo 2B

Cabrera LF

Delgado 1B

Lowell 3B

LoDuca C

Encarnacion RF

Gonzalez SS

Burnett SP

Jack just mentioned it on "Marlins on Deck". The lineup will stay the same from here on out and it's up to them to turn it on.

No more shuffling the lineup according to Jack.

good

the less blame on him about the hitting, the better

let the players fight it out and not whine like babies if they dont succeed and then blame it on him

Smart move. Gives the players less to whine about. Now its up to them.

But I think if this doesn't work, he should personally walk them out to the batters box, holding their hand, and then give them a few encouraging words, and tell them that he won't be far if they should need anything. Maybe even add a kiss on the cheek, depending on the mood of the moment.

I agree whole heartedly. Its time for the guys to put up or shut up. No complaining about what my role is? I can't get comfortable hitting 2nd, 6th whatever? Time to git R done or go home!

thank you lord.. ive been asking for the original lineup for a while now.

Just need Niner in the 7 spot and I'll be happy

He might have just saved his job

Lots of smiles in the dugout pre-game today. Could there have been some kind of reconciliation?

Jack had a meeting and told them what they wanted to hear. He would stop managing so much and let them bat themselves around.

I'm with you.

Smart move. It is up to some of those pussies to hit the ball and stop crying. I wish we'd see if the A's would trade Zito and send Enc to the Yanks for something to get him. Conine will be better over the long haul than Enc, IMO.

He should stay with this lineup, thats the lineup that will get out of the slump and you know what they are capable of when they do.

I liked what this batting order produced today. It reminds me of... the beginning of the season. :)

It worked on opening day, so why not once again as the team starts a new winning streak!

Oh wait, Leiter is pitching tomorrow. Perhaps the streak will start on Monday.

Let's try to have faith in Leiter. I am sure he will come around too. I hope that he will tomorrow. That would be a great follow up to tonight if he can keep Texas from putting a lot of runs on the boards.

Yes it would be a huge shot in the arm.

I'm not holding my breath though.

This should be the lineup for the rest of the year except for the occasional start for Treanor or Easly. Let's keep it going tomorrow. :super
