Umm..Cabrera in the HR Derby?

Featured Replies

Doesn't prove anything since they have those for a bunch of guys not participating in the HR derby including Roger Clemens.

Are you trying to tell me that Roger Clemens WONT be appearing in the derby? All this talk about him being a Power Pitcher, and no HR Derby appearance?

Well, they fixed it on MLB.com and it now correctly has Bobby Abreu of the Phillies representing Venezuela. :(

I dont know if this proves anything but this is on ESPN's store website, with this being the title of the item:

Majestic Men's 05 All Star Home Run Jersey

Marlins

Cabrera, Miguel

Heres the link if you dont believe me:

Cabrera Home Run derby jersey

It's technically the All-Star Jersey, but since the teams wear their team jerseys during the actual game, I guess the more accurate name for it would be the HR Derby jersey, as that's what the players all wear as they sit around and watch the Derby. IMO it's kinda dumb to have All-Star jerseys and not use them in the actual game.

He deserves to be in it, he has more power than half of those guys. Tommy Hutton said yesterday that Miggs was dissapointed in not being the in the Derby so it could be a mistake.
