September 17, 200519 yr If you're batting Andino 9th, why the need for the extra speedster (Pierre) at the top? Talk about an unbalanced lineup.
September 17, 200519 yr WOW! Has this happened more than once before? 949761 i think it happened twice last year
September 17, 200519 yr ummmmmmm...why is Lowell playing? 949762Â I was thinking that too.. Jack must have a good reason for it.
September 17, 200519 yr WOW! Has this happened more than once before? 949761 i think it happened twice last year 949766 Nope. Only at bats Dontrelle has made from any position other than 9th in the order have been when pinch-hitting.
September 17, 200519 yr ummmmmmm...why is Lowell playing? 949762 Yeah, so I officially hate this lineup
September 17, 200519 yr Oh.. Also Niner is in right so the only way Miggy could be at 3rd is when Hermida plays in left. I dont think Jack wanted 2 rookies in the lineup at once :shrugs
September 17, 200519 yr ummmmmmm...why is Lowell playing? 949762 Yeah, so I officially hate this lineup 949769Â I agree. This is a terrible lineup.
September 17, 200519 yr Cabrera's looked great at third base, I don't see the need to get Lowell back in there. If you want to give Enc a rest you have Hermida or Willingham on the bench who can both play left field. I just don't get it.
September 17, 200519 yr Jack has way too much confidence in Lowell. He should just come to terms with the fact that Lowell is done this year!
September 17, 200519 yr Castillo Pierre Cabrera Delgado Conine LoDuca Lowell Willis Andino 949756Â :thumbdown
September 17, 200519 yr I am seriously gonna laugh at all ya'll if this lineup hits 100 homers in one game. :plain
September 17, 200519 yr I love this lineup. I'm glad to see Enc sitting one out. As for starting Lowell, we already have a rookie in Andino starting, so I'm sure Jack wanted experience in there.... Jeremy Hermida's last start, he looked overmatched (0 for 5 with 4 k's)... Josh Willingham hasn't proven anything either, and would be a liability in the outfield. With Lowell, we get gold glove defense at 3rd... I don't understand you people. Jack has been the best manager we've had down here.. I have the utmost faith in him.. Much like ya'll did when we won the World Series.. I'd love to see all the critics here manage one game in the bigs.
September 17, 200519 yr Great. What the hell is Jack thinking? If he's going to play two automatic outs, he might as well bat Willis 7th.
September 17, 200519 yr Josh Willingham hasn't proven anything either, and would be a liability in the outfield. 949800 no more of a liability than Cabrera in left. and let's face it, defense hasn't been our problem, so why try to fix what's not broken, and make an area where we're already struggling worse?
September 17, 200519 yr I want Conine there everyday, but not plating RF. Why not Hermida in right and Conine in LF
September 17, 200519 yr Look on the bright side. Lowell might see some good pitches with Willis batting after him.
September 17, 200519 yr It's because the crowd gave Lowell a STANDING OVATION when he pinch hit yesterday. I was baffled. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. A standing ovation for a guy making 7.5 million a year who is hitting .232 with 6 homers.

A standing ovation for a guy making 7.5 million a year who is hitting .232 with 6 homers. 949826Â I was there, and I was one of those standing. It's called respect. And I was proud of being a Marlins fan. You do the same in Philladelphia and they would have booed him
September 17, 200519 yr Josh Willingham hasn't proven anything either, and would be a liability in the outfield. 949800 no more of a liability than Cabrera in left. and let's face it, defense hasn't been our problem, so why try to fix what's not broken, and make an area where we're already struggling worse? 949806 Well, it has, but there's nothing we can do with Gonzalez out... except play Wilson or Andino.... or about Cabrera... except play him at his best position (3B). Jack didn't go for defense today.  MarlinsGiants, most of Jack's critics have no wishes to be major league managers. Most of his critics wish the front office would hire another major league manager. Guess that means no one here can criticize anyone for anything if they themselves don't have equal or better talent?
