August 6, 200619 yr Author Is Hammer banged up or something?.... I was gone all weekend, so if I missed something I apologize why is Josh seeing so much pine recently?
August 6, 200619 yr Yes Reggie back! I hope he'll continue to hit even though Girardi bench him for a long time. Might take a few ab for Reggie to get use to the 95 mph pitches.

What do you mean "continue to hit", Reggie is not ready for the major leagues, he had an at-bat last night and struck out on 3 pitches

What do you mean "continue to hit", Reggie is not ready for the major leagues, he had an at-bat last night and struck out on 3 pitches Because he haven't seen any MLB pitcher lately, but I'm sure after a few ab, I believe he'll hit the game winning HR. :cool
August 6, 200619 yr well I hope Hoover doesn't suck today! can Hoover get any worse, or will he be like Mega-Maid and go from Sucks to Blows

August 6, 200619 yr I had no idea where to put this but it really made me laugh: Reggi Abercrombie-OF-Marlins Aug. 6 - 6:44 pm et Reggie Abercrombie went 0-for-3 against the Dodgers Sunday in his first start since July 18. Several of the Marlins' youngsters have had surprising seasons, but we're not at all impressed with how the team has handled those who have struggled. Abercrombie obviously belongs in Triple-A, and the Marlins have replacements available, most notably Chris Aguila. Still, he's been left to mostly sit on the Florida bench. He's had just 70 at-bats during a two-month span, and he's hitting .213 for the year. Rotoworld.com. Wow... Thats a shot in the arm.
August 7, 200619 yr Im glad Reggie turned it around for us today. Is he able to call balls and strikes? I hear MLB is lookin for a few good men.

Amezaga is a defensive liability in the outfield. He may be able to handle the infield positions decently, but he looks like a little leaguer going after flyballs.

I agree Amezaga is so limited in CF balls drop in front of him that any normal CF catch up to, our pitchers suffer when he is in the OF
