October 6, 200322 yr It hurts me to say this but the cubs are advancing. Im a loyal sox fan from the south side of chicago and i just wanted to let you know these morons on the north side are thinking yankees already. They basically have your team, which i have been pulling for since 97, written off already in a 4 game sweep. I know you guys can do it. please for the love of god shut these idiot cubs fans up for good! This is the least you guys could do for unloading Jerry "Ghandi" Manuel on us. I know you guys can win. GO MARLINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 6, 200322 yr I just got done watching WGN in Chicago and the broadcasters were already saying, "When we win Tuesday." Sure the Marlins haven't had much luck with them the past few seasons, but after the SF series, this team can and will win... With 65,000+ at PPS this weekend, the Marlins will be WSB once again!
October 6, 200322 yr Just wanted to let all the Fish fans know that I was watching WGN and they proclaimed that the Cubs will be "heavy favorites" to go to the World Series. Heavy favorites? Please. Obviously, they haven't seen the pitching of the Fish or the heart of the Fish. That would be great locker room material. Not that the Fish need any motivation. Go Marlins!
October 6, 200322 yr i just wanted to let you know these morons on the north side are thinking yankees already. They basically have your team, which i have been pulling for since 97, written off already in a 4 game sweep. Just the way we like it. :shifty
October 6, 200322 yr Author you guys werent supposed to be in the postseason or beat the Giants, so i think underdogs is the best thing that could happen! One game at a time Flordia, you sent bonds home crying, now send those worthless unemployed cheaters up north packing!!! GO FLORDIA!!!!!!
October 6, 200322 yr wow, you know, hearing that just gets me pumped up. I've said this before but theres more pressure being the "heavily favorites", specially for an unexperienced theam in the playoffs like the Cubs..look what happened to the giants and braves. Now the marlins will be underdogs and this will motivate our boys so its going to be a fun series.
October 6, 200322 yr cub fans are funny. do they forget that this is their first playoff series victory in 95 years. lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. let the cubbie fans get cocky. their jaws will drop when they are surprised.
October 6, 200322 yr Come on guys? Fans talking trash about the Marlins? SOUNDS FAMILIAR! The way I see it, the Marlins are fueled by these s--t-talking morons. Let them say what they want. As far as I'm concerned, I'll gladly allow my team, the Marlins, to take the "underdog" title this series. It's worked out great this year.
October 6, 200322 yr i wont worry its just another great chance for us to shut these fags up the fags that dont belive in us......
October 6, 200322 yr Man, if we can beat them we're gonna come out of nowehre and tackle them like the Braves groundscrew tackled that dude.
October 6, 200322 yr Everybody in San Francisco was thinking the same way one week ago! Where are they now?!? :mischief2 Oh yeah! They are sitting at home watching OUR Fish play the Cubs. So if people in Chicago want to look past us already.....well good for them. It'll lead to a bigger shock!! :shifty
October 6, 200322 yr Thinking sweep? Thinking SWEEP? Who, THE CUBS????? :lol :lol :lol :o :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol fags. AT BEST, the losers get 1 (prior, you can't deny the dude) Woods arm is rubberized and everybody else SUCKS
October 6, 200322 yr This is good. We want the Cubs to come in thinking it's an easy win. We want them to underestimate us, as the Giants did. We'll send them home crying like we did the Giants and Phillies.
October 6, 200322 yr I just got done watching WGN in Chicago and the broadcasters were already saying, "When we win Tuesday." Cubs fans don't think it's possible for Mark Prior to lose regardless of who he goes up against.
October 6, 200322 yr Marlins were down 1 game to 0 and losing Game Two 4-1. I'm sure the Giants fans thought they had the series wrapped up too.
October 6, 200322 yr Its pretty funny to think that the team that hasn't done jack shiit in almost a century and couldn't catch US in the Wildcard is the "heavy" favorite.
October 6, 200322 yr i think we have an above average chance to win game 1 then: all we have to do is take care of bussiness at home in our last 36 home games (including playoffs) we're 29-7

October 6, 200322 yr We must leave Wrigley with at least a split so we can come back to the OK corral and take 3 from them in a row. If we can take two in Chitown and win 2 at home, we have a chance. Wood and Prior can't pitch every game ya know.
