geemoney
http://www.tvsquad.com/2007/06/26/unsolved...-to-television/ YESS!! Even though it won't look or sound like the old show, at least it's something. Watching clips of the show on youtube lately has really got me looking forward to new stuff. Passion
That show used to scare the sh*t out of me as a kid.
EndLine
The host (Robert Stack) was a vital part of the show. For it to succeed, it needs a host that can scare the crap out of you, but will also be your best friend throughout the telecast. Any nominations? FutureGM
It won't be the same without Robert Stack.
Bryan
My favorite show as a kid. Hopefully, they elect to make some new episodes.

Iowa
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. It's a dumb question... skip it.
Dodge
No kidding, I loved this show as a kid. It got me creeped out so much. I used to be convinced I was about to spontaneously combust.
MiRi
It scared the crap out of me sometimes as a kid, yet I still watched it.

Mabdul Doobakus
Yeah, it's really hard to see this working without Robert Stack. Seems like a pretty strange programming choice for HBO, but maybe they'll be able to go places with it that regular network TV couldn't go. It's not necessarily airing on HBO, they are just one of the producers, I think.
Flying_Mollusk
I also used to get scared s***less by the show, especially when they did the ghost and alien bits.

Ashley
That show used to scare the crap out of me when I was younger. Creepiest theme song ever.
Dodge
You could be a total dork like me and download the theme song, burn it on a CD, and listen to it in the car while you're driving down a dark road at night. It has to be the old theme song though.

I didn't think I'd get creeped out, I just burned it on a CD to reminisce a little bit while I was on the road, but sure enough, it came on when it was dark out and I was driving through the woods. :mischief
Passion
That is so damn awesome. I literally laughed (not at you just thinking of the situation). :lol :lol :lol
Izzie
haha, nice. one song i could never hear in the dark was the x files theme. that's some creepy sh*t.
Guest Guest
My grandpa used to babysit me, and id be sitting there playing with my ninja turtles, and unsolved mysteries would come on. My grandpa would at that exact moment turn off all the lights and go to bed. This show is the sole reason I was terrified of the dark when I was a little kid. Nightmare on Elms Street, Village of the Damned(well, that one creeped the hell out of me, still does), Friday the 13th, Hellraiser, etc...none of that crap got to me like USM did. Dodge
Damn, I just watched a clip on UFO's in Mexico City on Youtube from the old school Unsolved Mysteries. I think I'm going to be doing this all afternoon.
