October 31, 200718 yr Nice way to make money and give douches who live in South Florida and root for the Yankees a chance to see their team. Home is where the heart is not vice versa. When I retire to stately YF Manor in South Florida, you better believe I'll still be a Yankee fan. And so will my kids. And my grandkids. :mischief

If your heart is really in NY then why don't you retire there? Too many unhappy Yankees are living here and are miserable to be around. 2. If your grandkids are growing up in Florida, then why would you not want them to be part of the local culture and root for their local team? :thumbdown

Cry, about what.. we've been blessed for the last 104 years with great teams... Yea right now it doesn't look good, but, were the yankees, we'll be back.... And as far as why i'm on this board, i live in miami so i root for the Marlins but my #1 team is the Yankees...

November 1, 200718 yr I'll probably go because it will be a pretty lively atmosphere and I'll be needing some baseball around that time. It will be good to see Girardi back in the dugout as well.

Hey, we do have that in common. I used to be a Mets fan too. Grew up in Corona one train stop away from Willits Point. The thought of it also almost makes me barf. I moved down here and the Marlins took me away. Sorry Mutts. GO FISH!
