They sure are doing everything possible to keep the fans coming....

If by "they" you mean the Marlins organization, they have nothing to say about what Huizenga Stadium company charges for his parking in his parking lot.

One way or the other Wayne's going to make sure the Marlins subsidize the Dolphins until the last game is played. Had to pay for Parcells somehow. :brigginbounce

Yep,

I was about to bring up the same point. Expect Wayne to raise parking prices, cheapen the concessions, and do whatever else he can do right up until the last day the Marlins play in his house to hurt baseball in South Florida. He'd water down the beer and serve uncooked hot dogs if he could. I'd expect concession prices to rise also next year on the miserable food.

I hate the dolphins and I have enjoyed the complete failure of the last recent years , Parcells is no means a guarantee to turn the dolphins around they lack talent at many positions and bill is old even 4 years might not be enough to turn the dolphins around

If people begin parking at Wal-Mart they could start ticketing cars.

Actually Wal-Mart could have them towed at the owner's expense as the parking lots are private property.

May I suggest looking at Miami-Dade Transit's Park & Ride options from the Golden Glades lot nearby?

Hopefully MDTA will expand the schedule of Marlins games where the service is offered. $5 for a single person or $10 for a couple to MDT is more reasonable than $15 per car to the evil Wayne!

My ticket rep confirmed to me it was 15$ so I brought the discounted parking passes for 10$ and saved some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

How much were the discounted parking passes last year?

The last few years I was a student in gainesville so I got the flex plan which did not get a discount on parking but If i recall from my conversation from previous rep I believe the discounted rate was 8 dollars .

Thx, and congratulations on having the discretionary money first year out of the box.

I confirmed the raise in game day prices to $15 some time ago. Season ticket prices didn't go up this year and I can only guess Wayne kinda caught the Marlins off guard because parking passes didn't either. $8 per game. (Irish...We paid $648 for my parking passes...If you paid more then they must have gone up since we bought ours) I expect both to go up next year. With Wayne still doing improvements to the stadium, the announcement of our new pond and ground being broken, I wouldn't be surprised to see prices go up around 20%.

There's the cheese. Start the whining. Just more excuses of why folks won't go to the games.

I might have paid more because I dont have a full 81 game ticket plan , i would imagine parking is just like season tickets the more you buy the greater discount you get .

I would imagine that's right. I didn't even know they had parking passes for the other ticket plans. But you did good. Anytime anyone can take a few $$$ out of Wayne's pockets they did good.
